When Erica from Mr and Mrs Unique and Jodie from Alternative Events sat down to plan this shoot, their main goal was to produce something that was vibrant, inspiring and most of all fun! I think all you colour lovers out there will just adore this!
“The shoot took place at The Boiler House in Cardiff”, said Erica, “and it was the perfect backdrop with its Keith Haring inspired graffiti wall art. I was keen to turn the industrial unit into something couples could envisage as a wedding reception space.”
“We filled it with bright, beautiful blooms, paint splattered giant balloons and adorned the tables with skateboards and concrete floral displays. We also used glassware, glitter taped stationery and colourful mini meringues.”
“Our models were real life couple Becca and Dan. Dan is in a Welsh band called The Samoans and Becca teaches circus acts, so we knew we had to install a trapeze for a few of the photos! She wore beautiful lace dresses from Ears & Whiskers and Vintage Atelier via Rock The Frock. Her pink ombre tulle skirt is by Federica Bruno and the wrap top by Wilden Bride.”
