Erica & Simon had a Hawaii wedding fit to bursting with gorgeousness. Erica’s stunning dress was flown all the way from England (woohoo) for the event and was custom made for her by her sister-in-law. The couple had a tiki bar, a vintage Vespa, uber cute cupcakes and their bridesmaids all in different candy coloured dresses, all with added to their Hawaii kitsch theme!
Huuuuge thanks to Marina for sharing these with me. I adore them!

I am crazy in love with Tanya & Mark's amazingly colourful DIY wedding! The event took place in Tanya's parent's backyard in Northampton, PA and totally reflected the couple's quirky, colourful, kitschy nature. They really put 100% of themselves into the day. Tanya made the invitations, the felt flowers, the centrepieces and most of the decorations herself and all of the tables were covered with unique vintage fabric sourced from various places throughout the wedding planning. One of my favourite details had got to be the pink flamingos everywhere though! Tanya says she has a slight obsession with John Waters so this detail was a must!
Tanya found her and her Bridesmaid's dress from Ebay and her amazing red birdcage veil from Events and Occasions. Her shoes were from Modcloth and her red petticoat was found at Unique Vintage.
Thanks to Tanya and Mark for sharing their day and all the gorgeous details with us!

As a colour fiend (and unapologetically so) its unusual for me to fall head over heels with such a neutrally coloured wedding. But as soon as I laid eyes on Timothy & Sherra's intimate ocean view ceremony and dramatic portraits on the beach I knew I had to blog it. The day was held at the Four Seasons Resort in Hualalai where the couple were married on the beach with just a few witnesses.

Tropical Picnic Wedding in Maui: Marina & Phil

Marina & Phil wanted a small and intimate destination wedding in Maui. They love to travel and adore the water so a ceremony at Ali'i Kula Lavender Farm followed by an after dinner boat cruise was perfect! "We love the outdoors", Marina wrote. "In particular, we love picnics with a great view. That's what we ended up doing - a wonderful picnic on a mountain on a tropical island. We laugh that we could not decide whether to get married on a mountain or on a tropical island, so did both. We also decided to have our wedding on the 4th of July because we wanted fireworks!"

Off the Hook Carnival Eye Candy
Kat
November 17, 2009
I knew Amy & Jesse's wedding would be off-the-hook with it's intense awesomeness as soon as I saw and blogged their engagements a while back. Surely a couple this offbeat and rockin' couldn't have anything but a super crazy, kooky, inspirational and incredible wedding day could they? However, even I was blown off my chair when I laid eyes on these little beauties. Their DIY, carnival wedding was not only ridiculously creative and awe-inspiring but the couple themselves literally looked like a candy covered explosion of kick ass attitude and fun all over! (By the way I fully realise that my explanation of my thoughts on this wedding probably make little or no grammatical and linguistical sense - however my intense excitement over getting to blog these appears to have rendered by logical brain dysfunctional!) Got it? Right...on with the show...
A HUGE Rock n Roll thank you to Marina of Red Heart Photography for sending these over. I couldn't wait to blog these (as always) and so the photos below are actually only part 1 & 2 of her posts. Go check out her blog over the next few weeks for even more eye candy!
