Kelty of Steep Street is slowly becoming one of my new favourite photographers. With every photo shoot I fall just a little bit more in love with her laid back, retro vibe. Nadia & Bram’s engagements are of course no exception. I have so much love…

The awesome Marianne Taylor (who shot my pinky, punky princess shoot) just sent me a selection of her most recent engagement sessions and Sam & Adam's jumped out at me right away. Not only have I got a unhealthy obsession with toy cameras right now (they used a Diana camera as a prop) but the couple are just to damn right funky for words.
I am loving Mr. Whippy ice cream, the light up heart shaped display, the neon back lights and of course the fact that these images are quintessential London baby!
Thanks to the ever gorgeous Marianne for sending these over.

Patience

It may be a virtue, but patience certainly isn't something I have. Especially when it comes to sharing images like these ones. I was going to wait a little while to blog these, but it turns out I literally have no self control and I couldn't hold off any longer. I'm pretty sure you'll understand why...
Eeek so gorgeous!

Day to Night

Anna & Simon actually had two days to shoot their engagements with friend and photographer Steve Gerrard. They hit two locations which gave both sets a completely different look. First up was the quaint English town of Stratford-Upon-Avon (random fact of the day - where Shakesphere was born) and the second at The Custard Factory in Birmingham. I can't help but particularly love the night time/painting with light shots though - v. cool!
Thanks to Steve for shooting these over to me.

The Last Days Of Summer

As much as we hate to admit it, summer is coming to an end. When we hit September and the kids go back to school that's pretty much it right? Hell I had to write an article for a magazine (hehe shameless self promotion to follow soon!) about winter weddings last week for crying out loud!
However with the nights drawing in, we can't deny that the light gets that little bit more beautiful and the evenings become that little bit more comfortable - so comfortable in fact that Rachel & Nate felt the need for a pillow fight! You gotta love these...

You know what, I always have time for another quickie blog post before bed. Moley is wonderful. I heart him. He has also just become Feather Love's new intern. I expect great things. Gotta love those random moustaches/fake noses!
Thanks for sending Moe. Love ya!

A Simply Stunning Engagement: Justin & Alanna
Kat
June 15, 2012
Engagement shoots can get a little cray cray. Props, expensive outfits and mental locations, while all lovely, are not what makes a good one. To me, a cute couple being themselves and showing their love their way is what matters. Dear Justin & Alanna, you did this amazingly!

Roadhouse Relics

You've got to see Kassie & James' killer Roadhouse Relics (Texas) engagement shoot! The vintage, western, neon retro decor and 50's rockabilly vibe proved to be the perfect location for such an awesome couple. The store, which specialises in neon signs allowed the couple an hour to come in and get some fabulous photographs.
