Jana & Gerry’s engagements kicked it. They had them in Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia…
What makes us a rock ‘n’ roll couple? Well, we met backstage. Gerry has played in local Philly bands for years and we were introduced by his cousin. Being an attorney, I’ve been known to get into a shouting match (or two) with a record label over royalties for my man. Besides that, we’re having one of Philly’s best rock DJs do our wedding and we’re having it at the Mutter Museum – because if you can’t have a wedding onstage, medical oddities are a close second.

Meggi & Josh's engagement shoot may not be the most extravagant shoot I've ever featured but it's certainly one of the most beautiful. Have you ever seen deer so tame?! What gorgeous photographs to remember this special time in their lives.

Oh yes! How flippin' cool are these guys? With a background in music photography, Steve Gerrard always seems to attract the ultimate Rock n Roll couples and Rom & Will certainly aren't an exception. So cool it hurts.

Day to Night

Anna & Simon actually had two days to shoot their engagements with friend and photographer Steve Gerrard. They hit two locations which gave both sets a completely different look. First up was the quaint English town of Stratford-Upon-Avon (random fact of the day - where Shakesphere was born) and the second at The Custard Factory in Birmingham. I can't help but particularly love the night time/painting with light shots though - v. cool!
Thanks to Steve for shooting these over to me.

It’s Only Rock n Roll…

Musicians Diane & Mark wanted to do something different to the usual portrait session for their engagements. They brought along their beloved instruments and rocked the hell out! I'm also totally in love with the sheet music speech bubbles, an awesome Rock n Roll take on the usual props.
