Last week Gareth & I were lucky enough to be invited to my friend Mark Niemierko’s annual Valentine’s party, this year held at Spencer Hart Tailors located on Saville Row in Mayfair (read: too posh for us, how the hell did we get invited?!). I wore a vintage pink 1950s prom dress for the occasion which I had picked up from my favourite vintage shop in all the land, Frock n Roll .
I love Mark more than words. He comments “My annual Valentine’s party allows the wedding industry a night off, to let their hair down and celebrate the hard work we’ve all put in. As well as to look forward to the weddings in the year ahead. A few previous Niemierko Grooms have chosen to wear Spencer Hart suits on their wedding day, upon visiting their new flagship store I instantly thought this would make a great party venue. Perfectly located directly opposite one of my favourite hotels, Claridge’s, and diagonally opposite Vera Wang. Brook Street is fast becoming a must visit location for all Brides and Grooms.”
..See, told you…posh…( ps i love how you can always easily spot me in a crowd haha!)
Gareth’s dream is to one day be able own one of the beauties on display.
As a little V-day treat, I thought you might like to see some photos (hello pink lighting – I like to think Mark did this in my honour…!) and the fabulous video. I was even interviewed for this one.
PS those whiskey cocktails were bloody lethal…
Thanks to Mark and his whole team for a truly fabulous evening!

I almost don't know where to start with writing this post as the whole day is kind of a blur...a fabulous adrenalin-fuelled blur...but a blur none the less.
In actual fact, I know you really all just want to see the photos and video (eek!) of me walking the catwalk so shall we just cut to the chase and get straight to it?

HUGE thanks to Eye Imagine Photos, Eliza Claire Photography & Shell de Mar Photography (check the file names to see who shot which images) for taking these photos for me.

“Rusalka” Styled Wedding Shoot

Devlin Photos
May 18, 2014
For the photo shoot at the latest Photography Farm workshop, photographer Lisa Devlin knew she needed to do something big. After all, at the last Farm Gareth and I got married again! After seeing Megan and Grant's gorgeous wedding on Rock n Roll Bride, and reading how much Megan loves Disney (and just so happens to resemble a certain crimson haired mermaid) the ideas started bubbling away. She wanted to put a different twist on the mermaid idea though and eventually came across the story of Rusalka, from which The Little Mermaid movie was based. Luckily Megan and Grant also loved the idea and we're thrilled to model for her!

My Fabulous Life
February 9, 2013
Are you having a festival themed wedding? 2012 was certainly the year that this idea exploded into weddings, but it would appear it isn't going anywhere during 2013 either!
This festival-inspired wedding shoot was pulled together by wedding photographer Becky Joiner and Muddifords Court in order to promote their latest venture, the FabulousWedFest wedding show which is taking place on 16th March. Shot in and around the venue itself, and using suppliers that will actually be exhibiting at the fair, this shoot shows that festival weddings are far from over. It's clearly a theme that we're going to see gaining popularity in 2013 and beyond. Wellies at the ready guys!

Happy Valentine’s Day – Smooooooozing and Swanning Around The Mark Niemierko & Browns Bride Valentine’s Party
Kat
February 14, 2011
After Tuesday's wedding blogger's shoot came Mark Niemierko's Valentine's Party, hosted by Caroline Burstein of Browns Bride (pictured above). Let me get one thing straight here... I was more than a little bit surprised to receive an invite to such an event.
"Seriously? Me? a pink (well rainbow) haired slightly-punky-in-no-way 'high end' wedding blogger...really?! You want ME so come and cover the event? Erm... OK then" Was pretty much the thought process I had when the invitation landed through my door.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow at The Photography Farm – Preview

September 30, 2011
So this week I spent most of my time hanging out with a bunch of amazing wedding photographers at The Photography Farm, hosted by photographer Lisa Devlin. We drank (way to much) wine and (too many) cocktails, some brave souls swam in the pool or hung out in the jacuzzi...oh and we even threw in a bit of learning too!

“It’s My Party”…Come Rock n Roll With Me in April!
Kat
January 21, 2011
Remember the last Rock n Roll party? It was totally awesome! However this time I'm going bigger and BETTER! I'm hiring out a whole bar in central London (Soho) on Thursday 14th April 2011 from 6.30 - midnight for the party to end all parties...and guess what? You're ALL invited. Brides, photographers, suppliers/vendors, bloggers, wedding obsessives...all of you! And the reason for this little get together? Well...cos parties are fun right?!
The last party was pretty popular. I organised it in just two weeks and just had a small area of a bar reserved. Even though a lot of people couldn't come because it was so last minute, over 100 people still turned up! I was a little blown away by it all and so needless to say I'm now expecting this one to be just as popular. The venue has a capacity of 200 people. There will be a DJ, cupcakes and a photo booth (hopefully complete with silly props - if you have any you'd like to bring please do!) to keep you entertained as well and lots of yummy cocktails and lots of lovely people to talk to! I really hope you can make it!
