The day after their wedding in McLaren Vale, South Australia, Jess and Jack took the plunge—literally—at Pt Noarlunga with an extraordinary underwater photo shoot! The couple, who both love free diving, couldn’t think of a better and more ‘them’ way to mark their marriage than a shoot like this.

Photographer Steven Duncan of SvenStudios told us, “The shoot was all about blending elegance and adventure, taking the classic ‘wreck the dress’ concept and making it something artistic and deeply personal. The underwater environment gave us photos which felt ethereal and cinematic, with the flowing dress and soft light creating a dreamlike atmosphere.”

“The wedding industry is such a vibrant and creative space, but it can sometimes feel a little too focused on tradition or sticking to what’s been done before”, he continued. “While there’s definitely beauty in classic approaches, I think there’s a huge opportunity to embrace more individuality and encourage couples to tell their stories in their own unique ways.”
