Rock n Roll Bride was launched in 2007 as a blog when our editor-in-chief, Kat, became frustrated by the limited options in the UK wedding industry while planning her own wedding. Thankfully, the industry has come a long way since then, but one thing remains the same: our unwavering commitment to helping you plan a wedding that puts YOU at the heart of it.

Meet the Editor
Kat Williams is the founder and editor of Rock n Roll Bride magazine and Amazon #1 bestselling author of Rock n Roll Bride: The Ultimate Guide for Alternative Brides. Kat is passionate about inclusivity, using her platform to show that all kinds of people get married and deserve love and respect.

In 2019, Kat’s book, Rock n Roll Bride: The Ultimate Guide for Alternative Brides, was published by Ryland, Peters and Small.

Kat Williams, offers information on all aspects of organising a wedding, as well as refreshingly honest advice, answering those difficult questions on every modern bride’s mind – from family politics to dealing with anxiety on your wedding day.

Kat takes on a very limited number of wedding planning clients for one-to-one help. Rock n Roll Fairy Godmother is your chance to pick a wedding expert’s brain without the commitment or expense of hiring a full-service wedding planner. Although this is certainly not a replacement for a wedding planner, if you just want a bit of personalised help from someone who’s been in the wedding industry (and at the forefront of the alternative wedding industry!) for nearly 18 years, then this your chance.
