When Katelyn and Brandon decided to tie the knot, they knew they wanted a day that reflected their spontaneous, fun-loving spirits. And what better place for a wedding with personality than Las Vegas? They also wanted everything to be pink!

Katelyn wanted a look that had a “shotgun wedding feel” but with a nod to modern bridalwear. She opted for a semi-see-through lace midi dress, complete with dramatic lace sleeves, a short lace-trimmed veil and hot pink heels. “It felt unique, fun, and very much like me,” she said. “I wore simple pearl earrings to add to, but not take away from, the dress and veil. It was all about finding that balance.” She also carried a homemade bouquet.

Brandon’s outfit was just as meaningful. He donned a bright pink suit, inspired by none other than Elvis. “We’re from the Memphis area, and Elvis is one of his favorite artists of all time,” Katelyn explains. “It just made sense to pay homage to him in the city where he performed so often.”

They chose the iconic Little White Wedding Chapel for their ceremony , and they were surprised at how emotional and fun it turned out to be. “It was the happiest and most fun moment of both of our lives. Neither of us thought we would get emotional, but as soon as I started walking down the aisle, that all changed. We both knew, as we looked into each other’s eyes and read our vows, that we had picked the right person.”

While the couple kept most things low-key, they did splurge on one key element: their hotel. “The biggest expense was the hotel,” Katelyn concluded. “We stayed at the Cosmopolitan, and it was absolutely amazing. Worth every penny.”
