When Christa and Corinne decided to get married, they knew they wanted a wedding that felt like a grand celebration with a glamorous feel. The golden age of the roaring 20s felt like the perfect theme and they went full Gatsby, even asking their guests to dress up.

The ceremony was held outdoors in front of the castle in Jegenstorf, Switzerland. With a backdrop that could rival any 1920s film set, the couple exchanged their vows in a laid back ceremony. Christa made a memorable entrance with her two daughters and their dog, while Corinne was escorted by her two dads.

Following the ceremony, the celebration moved to Gurten, a picturesque mountain in Bern known for its famous festival. Guests enjoyed an aperitif with breathtaking views of the city, followed by a sumptuous four-course dinner. A musical duo serenaded the guests with tunes from the 1920s.

Every detail of Christa and Corinne’s wedding was carefully considered to stay true to the Gatsby theme. “When planning a wedding, you need to consider too many little details,” Christa said. “We realised quite soon that we needed support from a wedding planner.”

All the little details at the reception, made the party the biggest expense, but they did make their own berry syrup which they gave as favours. “The day was perfect”, Christa concluded. “We had two locations which made planning a bit more complex, but we couldn’t have done it without the help from our wedding planner. We had such positive experiences with everyone involved.”
