For just £2000, Danielle and Carl wore their Beetlejuice inspired outfits to marry at Sure Thing Chapel in Las Vegas in February. They made all their decisions quickly and the planning was stress-free from start to finish because they had no guests!
They weren’t bothered by traditions, having a big fancy day or inviting anyone else but themselves. “We went for the ‘Sure thing’ package at the Sure Thing Chapel this included a short but sweet ceremony and extra time in the chapel for photos including the photo booth”, Danielle explained. “Our wedding was a quick decision and it was so quick to book everything too!”
After the ceremony they had drinks at Atomic Liquor before moving on to the Chandelier bar at The Cosmopolitan Hotel. They ended the day at the Top Of The World restaurant at The Strat overlooking Las Vegas. “We enjoyed that the day was just for us”, the bride said, “We had a great time with Dan, our photographer, and his wife Bri. We really liked his style, felt it fitted our vibe and would produce the perfect memories.”

When I featured Ainsley and Sebestien's engagement shoot in September I dubbed it "the coolest engagement shoot to date". I was pretty sure that their wedding would be suitably kick ass too but nothing (and I mean nothing!) could have prepared me for this.
While I was hanging out with their wedding photographer Janneke Storm in Queensland, she started to tell me more about their upcoming elopement in Las Vegas. I made her promise then and there to send me the photos to blog afterwards. Luckily for me (and you!) she did.

Katie and Christopher dropped just $1000 on their amazing wedding. They hosted it in their own home, the bride bought her dress online and the reception décor was put together by the couple themselves. They had a bubble machine on the ceiling, costume accessories, creepy mannequins, sparklers and black silk petals. Their seating was all thrifted to save cash.

A lot of you will no doubt remember Whit and Colby's 'Non Wedding' shoot by the incredible Brooke Davis. It was one of my most popular wedding features of all time, and weirdly, sparked quite a bit of debate. But to those that said it was an irrelevant shoot with no real meaning to actual brides and grooms - today I present to you Alicia and Phill. After seeing those images not only booked Brooke to shoot their elopement, but went for their very own 'Non Wedding' theme - a secret ceremony and a party in their own back garden. Inspiration is everywhere.

Now this, my friends, is what being a Rock n Roll bride is all about. It's not about flowers, or favours or a fancy wedding venue. It's not about what you wear, who your bridesmaids are or what theme you have. Being a Rock n Roll bride is about doing your own thing, marching to your own beat, and saying "I do" in a way that feels right for the two of you. That's exactly what Rob and Edie did which is why I'm so excited to share their wedding with you today.

Liam and Tara’s September wedding was inspired one thing; their journey together. Meeting at 17 and being each other’s first loves, they’ve had a rocky road to get to where they now are and so wanted to celebrate not only the things that they like together, but also as individuals. This translated as a fun, geeky mismatch of inspirations; comic books, unicorns, Disney, Alice in Wonderland… the list goes on!
