Sophisticated and quirky, glamorous and decadent, W London crystallizes the quintessential dual personality of the British soul. Opening its doors in 2011 and overlooking the bright lights of Soho, we were thrilled to be invited to shoot issue 39’s editorial inside their Perception Bar.
Inspired by their custom-made furnishings and bold accents our fashion team pulled together this shoot using our first ever real couple as models!
We had the run of their Perception Bar (featuring Europe’s largest disco ball) which would be a really great central location for a contemporary pre or post-ceremony party. For more information about hiring W London to celebrate your wedding visit theperceptionbar.com/groups or email wlondon.events@marriott.com.
It’s always a pleasure when we get to shoot pieces from some of our favourite, Rock n Roll Bride approved designers too. From a sleek Vivienne Westwood (via Browns Bride) silk gown, to custom painted Converse from Wedding Converse and a beautifully embroidered veil by Holly Winter Couture on our Funso to the Twisted Tailor suits on Pedro, we hope these looks inspire you if you’re having your own city central or modern styled wedding.
This shoot originally appeared in issue 39 (July/Aug 2021). If you missed it, you can still order a copy as a back order here.
