Have you ever seen a fashion shoot in an elevator? We certainly haven’t and although this session, which was sent to us by florist and designer Valen Ibarra of BLUMENHAUS, isn’t strictly bridal, we have a funny feeling you’re going to like it just as much as we do.

Valen told is all about it, “The whole concept came to me in a dream. In the dream I was in an elevator surrounded by flowers, I woke up at 3am messaged my friend Karina, who is a photographer, and started planning.”

“Literally three days later the dream came to life. The shoot took place in a random elevator in Denver. We hope this shoot inspires Rock n Roll brides and grooms because it takes a step out of ordinary ceremony sites and shows you can elope or wed or have flowers anywhere. It would be an especially cute idea if you and your significant other met in an elevator!”

“We think this shoot is 100% original and while I’ve seen a lot of awesome florists use flowers in out of the box places, I’ve never seen anyone flower an elevator before and the fact it came to me in a dream makes it that much more unique. I’ve already seen the idea catch on and other florists are doing their version or adding their spin – to me that’s the coolest compliment. Special thanks to my two good friends Karina and Grace for doing this with me, having my back and believing in my random ideas.”
