Roxane and Stephane were married in Provence in a low key, inexpensive wedding that felt perfectly right for them. They spent €5000 on food and drink, €400 on a venue and everything else was either gifted or they already owned.
The bride’s mum organised the entire reception for them. The bridesmaids and groomsmen chose their own outfits, friends did the hair and make up, DJed and helped with the decor.
“Our wedding was not expensive ans every of our friends and family helped us out with decorations and everything we needed”, said the bride. “Our photographer was a friend. He took the most beautiful pictures for us with all his heart and we could feel that our close relationship with him meant we got amazing pictures.”
“The wedding theme was bohemian and rustic”, Roxane continued. “I wanted the colours to be green, gold and light pink. We used a lot of natural materials – wood and flowers.”
Having the bride’s mum organising everything for them was quite stressful for her, and their only regret is that they couldn’t help her out more on the day. “My wedding was the most beautiful to me”, she concluded, “but I regret that my mum got so exhausted by it.”

Tattoos, tears and a seriously cute couple. Toni & Colin's wedding is what my dreams are made of. These guys are THE perfect Rock n Roll couple and they're wedding slays me. Plus they had Sassy of Assassynation as their wedding photographer so they instantly go way up in the cool stakes with me!
The wedding was held at The Quay, Musselburgh, on 10th November. "Colin and I met online what feels like a life time ago but wasn't all that long ago in the grand scheme of things", Toni began. "We spoke for a month or so online and then he made plans to come over from Northern Ireland to visit me in Edinburgh. 'I'll come for the weekend,' he said. Well, he arrived and he's yet to leave! We've lived together from day one and, including the night before the wedding, we are yet to spend one single night apart. It's a good job he makes me laugh as much as he does!"

Carrie and Neil had a red and white wedding with rockabilly and polka dot touches! The day was held at Highbury Hall in Birmingham and was full of DIY décor. "We would like to think we were far more relaxed, friendly and laid-back than other wedding we have been to", began the bride. "So many weddings we have been to seem so stiff and uptight as a whole. We wanted a fun party atmosphere with a live band playing lots rockabilly, plenty of food for people to stuff their faces, and encouraged dancing until your feet dropped off. The word 'formal' never entered our vocabulary."
