Brandi and Josh first met at a local coffee house after being set up by some of Brandi’s co-workers. Their coffee date lasted five hours getting and the rest is history! They decided to elope, and then, eight years later, had a vow renewal with family and friends present.
“When Josh and I first married almost eight years ago, we were so young and very in love. We didn’t have a lot of money or a clear vision for our ‘dream day’”, said Brandi. “Honestly, we just wanted to commit our lives to one another.”
“The theme for our vow renewal was industrial and we focused on one-of-a-kind pieces and décor. It reflected us and both our personalities in the best possible way. Our vow renewal celebration was even better than our wedding day because this time we have history, we have memories, and we have a deeper love than we could ever have imagined.”
“Before we planned our elopement, the one thing we wish we had taken into account that our wedding day is about US, not the small little details. Your friends and family are there to witness your love, not nitpick the silverware.”
“We think the best advice that we can give to future brides and grooms is to keep it about the two of you. This is a day that you will always remember, and what’s most memorable is the love between you two. Honour that first, and don’t give too much attention to the ‘stuff’.”
