The Roost is probably one of London’s coolest event spaces… and I don’t say that lightly! I was lucky enough to visit and experience it myself at The Blogcademy’s recent party , and I figured it would be a crime against alternative weddings to keep it to myself! If you’re having an unconventional wedding in our nation’s capital then you HAVE to consider The Roost as your venue!
Located in trendy Dalston, the four floor converted Victorian pub is decorated in a really fun, eclectic way with statement wallpaper, vintage furniture, quirky props and unique artwork. They also love to give their couples complete creative freedom when it comes to decorating the place with their own props too!
The Roost can accommodate 150 guests for cocktail hour 100 seated for dinner. The space includes a bar area on the ground floor with doors onto an attractive planted garden, a basement which is perfect for late night entertainment, and a large bright first floor open space that is perfect for sit down meals. The venue also has a commercial kitchen for caterers to prepare the food.
Basic hire includes licensed doormen and cleaning. For more information or to rent the venue for your wedding simply drop event’s manager Steph an email !
