Hello beautiful! This update comes to you from a very chilly Chicago, where I’m sat in my Air B&B digs with Gala and Shauna, hiding from the weather and planning our adventures in this brand new city.
Last weekend we taught out first Blogcademy workshop of the year in San Francisco. We had such an awesome time and I loved every single one of these girls who came to spend their weekend with us. Full report heading your way soon of course!
On Monday we (begrudgingly) left our beautiful haunted mansion to fly to Chicago. We had such a fab time in California, managing to pack a whole lot into our short trip (full Honeymoon Travel Guide hitting these pages imminently!) The flight to the windy city was great except for the massive lightening storm that started as soon as we landed, forcing us to stay on the runway at O’Hare for two hours – groan!
But we’re here now, and excited about what these next few days have in store for us. Yesterday we wandered around downtown, took cheesy tourist photos at Cloud Gate (aka the bean!) ate delicious vegan food at Native Food and even more delicious 2-4-1 pizzas at Frasca.
The midwest has welcomed us with open arms, and we’ve even bumped into a few readers along the way (my favourite was the girl who said hello in Native Foods by exclaiming “Oh my god, you’re from the internet!”)
I can’t wait to explore a bit more today and tomorrow but most of all to teach another gaggle of brand new Blogcadettes at the workshop this weekend! By the way, we still have a couple of open spaces, so if you do fancy coming along, we’d be thrilled to have you.
