Lauren and Dean wanted their wedding to be a big party for everyone, but mostly one that they’d really love to go to! They handmade pretty much everything (“I think I burned off my fingertips with hot glue over those few months” Lauren laughed) and hosted it on a private properly in Granville, MA.
The wedding was full of personal touches, starting with their officiant who was one of Dean’s childhood friends. They had another friend make the cake and Lauren designed the stationery. The flowers were pulled together in their hotel rooms the night before the wedding!
“I have to say, the day is a huge blur at this point”, wrote the bride. “I just know Dean, myself, and anyone we spoke to since had a great time. We spent most of our funds on our photographers, because we really wanted to capture everything in the day. And still we wish we had more friends and family take a thousand more pictures. We made and found EVERYTHING including the flower arrangements and all the décor. Our antique china settings were found at various yard and estate sales and estate sales all over New England – we needed enough for 200 guests!”
“The only thing we would have changed would have been to make it a three day weekend instead of just two”, she concluded. “We weren’t done enjoying ourselves and our guests when it was time to go home.”

Do you remember Mr & Mrs Tattooboy? The hot tattooed couple behind one of my favourite ever engagement sessions? Well check it out - they got hitched and I've got the exclusive on their killer wedding. When the couple first met, Kori was a cheerleader and Matt was a rocker and a tattooed artist. They soon fell in love and Kori starting getting just as much ink as her man!
"Kori & Matt’s aka Mr. & Mrs. Tattooboy, have this incredible rockabilly style & then some!!!" photographer Christina told me. "When I asked Kori about the details of her wedding she just told me she wanted it to be different from the normal-cheesy-blah type weddings, this made me really happy that she wasn’t giving in to what everyone else in the world was doing! Their unusual story & love for tattoos & rockabilly style was inspiration enough for these two lovers to plan their wedding."

Ahh Emily & Chris' Florida nuptials is what my wedding dreams are made of. Getting ready in the Hard Rock Hotel (my spiritual home for sure) this achingly cool pair had their beautiful wedding at Ybor City Museum Garden in Tampa. Emily wore the Greenbow lace gown by BHLDN and Miu Miu shoes, while Chris kept it casual yet chic in a checked shirt and a vintage velvet jacket combo. The 1970s is an era that many might feel should be left back with the flares, disco and Woodstock hippies, but I'm am here to tell you the exact opposite. How bloody cool are these two?!

Unlike so many Italian weddings that they'd been to before, Michelangelo and Francilla wanted a day that was big, ridiculous and most of all fun! They went for a vintage circus theme, and oh boy, they really did go all out on the theme! Francilla told me all about it, "In Italy it’s quite impossible to have a different wedding and not do everything traditionally. It’s so hard to get away from the 'rules' that everyone says you have to obey, but we worked hard to make sure we did! We would have never been happy to marry in this way, and luckily our families knew it!"

Tattoos, tears and a seriously cute couple. Toni & Colin's wedding is what my dreams are made of. These guys are THE perfect Rock n Roll couple and they're wedding slays me. Plus they had Sassy of Assassynation as their wedding photographer so they instantly go way up in the cool stakes with me!
The wedding was held at The Quay, Musselburgh, on 10th November. "Colin and I met online what feels like a life time ago but wasn't all that long ago in the grand scheme of things", Toni began. "We spoke for a month or so online and then he made plans to come over from Northern Ireland to visit me in Edinburgh. 'I'll come for the weekend,' he said. Well, he arrived and he's yet to leave! We've lived together from day one and, including the night before the wedding, we are yet to spend one single night apart. It's a good job he makes me laugh as much as he does!"
