Launched in 2004, Girls of Elegance are one of the UK’s leading suppliers of affordable bridesmaid dresses, wedding shoes and bridal accessories. After trading solely online for the past 8 years, in August last year they launched their first dedicated wedding shoe showroom in Dorset, and this February will see them taking Charlotte Balbier wedding gowns into their boutique.
Girls of Elegance pride themselves in the extensive range for bridesmaids, including dresses of all shapes and colours – all for under £100! My favourite has got to be this adorable polkadot dress which comes in at amazing £74.99 and is available in 6 colours. I love it so much in fact that I just nabbed it myself in the mint colour! I love the look of bridesmaids in the same dress but different colours, and wouldn’t this one just be perfect for a country garden themed wedding?
FYI the stock on this particular dress is limited so buy now to avoid missing out!
Or how about this Grecian number priced at just £79.99? It would be perfect for a destination wedding don’t you think? It also comes in a choice of 6 colours. I could actually imagine a bride rocking the white version of this one too…
They also offer a bespoke shoe dying service if boring white bridal shoes aren’t you or your bridesmaid’s thing! They stock shoes from well-known designers such as Paradox of London , Benjamin Adams , Belle , Filippa Scott and Rainbow Club .
Girls of Elegance really are a one-stop-shop to make you, and your bridesmaids, feel gorgeous (but at an affordable price!) on your wedding day.
For more information and to see their full range be sure to pop by their website . You will also be able to visit Girls of Elegance on their stand at The National Wedding Show on 24th-26th February at London Olympia.

Today I'd like to introduce you to the photography of Kjrsten Madsen. Over the past few months I've been rediscovering my love of film photography and so it really is an honour to share these images with you all. Our wedding photos were shot on film, and although this wasn't really a concious decision at the time, looking back there really is a huge amount of joy that I get from knowing that these images were imprinted on a physical roll of film and developed by hand in a darkroom.

Glasgow based photographer Neil Douglas of And Do You Take Photography prides himself on his composition and use of light. In fact he cites his main inspiration as Martin Parr, a social photographer, who is well known for his exaggerated style. "I love the way he uses colour and composition to really bring out the personality of his subjects," Neil writes, "Henri Cartier Bresson is also massive influence for me - his candid photography really paved the way for us who favour a reportage style."

Vintage has become a bit of a dirty word in the wedding world. It's been overdone more than any trend' I've ever known... and in many cases pretty badly. But vintage weddings as a concept are beautiful and some of the most creative and beautiful weddings that I've featured have fallen under that 'vintage' banner. In fact vintage weddings are not limited to pearls, lace and mismatched crockery - they can be so much more than that, the only limit is your imagination.can be so much more than that, the only limit is your imagination.
