Molly & Sam’s beautiful vintage rockabilly wedding was held at The Promethean in Adelaide.
Before the ceremony, the couple met at Cafe Salsa – a 50’s themed beach cafe – for photographs. They also has some shots taken at the skateboard park as Sam and his friends can often by found hanging out there.
“Sam and his mates did some brief skate manoeuvres and everybody prayed nobody took a spill and injured themselves,” photographer Helen told me. “Then it was on to The Promethean for the ceremony and a cool party with groovy music. They walked down the aisle to ‘Rose of my Heart’ by Jonny Cash. The party went on until 5am!”
Thank you to Molly & Sam and their photographer Helen for sharing.

Carrie and Neil had a red and white wedding with rockabilly and polka dot touches! The day was held at Highbury Hall in Birmingham and was full of DIY décor. "We would like to think we were far more relaxed, friendly and laid-back than other wedding we have been to", began the bride. "So many weddings we have been to seem so stiff and uptight as a whole. We wanted a fun party atmosphere with a live band playing lots rockabilly, plenty of food for people to stuff their faces, and encouraged dancing until your feet dropped off. The word 'formal' never entered our vocabulary."

Becky and Dave budgeted £5000 for their 1950s wedding. They wanted a really special and unique day, but they didn't want to spend a fortune getting it! They were inspired by everything they mutually love for their retro theme.

I honestly don't know where to begin describing Emma & Pete's wedding to you all. From the reaction to just the sneak peek post (epic) that I put up last week, I know pretty much the whole of blog-land has been eagerly awaiting to see this wedding too and so I'm pretty flipping honoured that not only was I invited (and let into the secret that it was a surprise wedding!) but that Emma & Pete have allowed me to share it with you all. I have the best job in the world.

Patrick and Hazel love the 1950s and rockabilly style so they wanted to bring this into their day. When watching Grease one day, the bride also decided she needed a carousel at the wedding! Luckily they found Blists Hill Victorian Town at the Ironbridge Gorge Museum in Shropshire which came complete with a fun fair!

I'm definitely not only of those girly girls. I favour a bold and modern aesthetic over pretty pastels any day. But Joey & Mike's wedding slayed me when it landed in my inbox recently. And 'pretty' is really the only word I can use to best describe what I saw.

Isn't it funny when two of your worlds collide? I've been stalking following Talia on Instagram for ages (I love love love her cute kawaii style!) and so when I received their wedding photographs from Eric Roland I literally jumped up and down with glee! I knew this wedding was going to be awesome from the few sneaks I'd seen on her feed but I was little prepared for this level of amazement...

Welcome to Elodie & Alexis' gorgeous French wedding. If you loved their engagement shoot this morning, then their nuptials are gonna blow your socks off! The wedding ceremony was held in the bride's parent's back garden which they decorated themselves. Alexis picked all the flowers and pulled together a bouquet of wheat for Elodie to carry down the aisle.
As I said in this morning's post, the couple are both deaf and found their film-loving deaf photographer Ashton Jean-Pierre at World Deaf Art Festival in Reims, near Paris, last Summer.

Rowan & Neil were married at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, Renfrew followed by a Mad Men inspired reception at 29 Private Members Club in Glasgow. "The wedding ceremony was particularly special to us," Rowan explained. "My Dad is an Episcopal minister and it was a great honour to have him conduct the service in his own church. My Mum walked me up the aisle - it was lovely to have them both involved in the duties of 'giving the bride away'."
