Before I get into sharing these stunning photos I do have to let you know that some of them are potentially not safe for work!
Lauren & Duccio had a two-day wedding celebration (day one is on the wonderful Green Wedding Shoes today) in Ibiza. The roaring 20’s, flapper & gangster, speakeasy, glamorous and naughty vibe of the second night party day made it perfect for Rock n Roll Bride!
“This couple were seriously Rock n Roll!” photographer Polly Alexandre told me. “Pole dancers on the dancefloor and topless dancers during the drinks reception, a full on club atmosphere and awesome guest outfits! It was full on wildness and glamour.”
“The couple did away with bridesmaids and groomsmen and a cake, and made their celebrations their own with a two-part party…Night 1 was a hippy chic beach side Spanish dinner celebration after the ceremony and night 2 was the reception, again with a drinks reception, sit down meal and dancing….and a whole new theme.”
“A flamenco duo danced during dinner, bejewelled dancers from iconic Ibiza clubs Space and Pacha draped themselves across daybeds to greet the guests, danced and posed,” she continued. “US singer Barbara Tucker was flown in especially to sing the couple’s first dance where she stood on a wall in front of the sea. Watching the bride’s father dance with a topless model was priceless!”
“I love how all the groom’s friends look super cool in their bespoke suits and hats….can you tell they are all Italian?!”
Gotta love something a bit risqué for a Friday afternoon huh?! Have a great weekend guys!
Thank you to Lauren & Duccio and photographer Polly for sharing these today, and be sure to pop over to Green Wedding Shoes to see part one of this fabulous wedding.

I'm not really supposed to have favourites, but Betty might just be one of the most beautiful and radiant brides I've ever seen... I am totally smitten with her 1940s vintage lace dress (bought on eBay for £40!) and that adorable white faux flower crown and simple bouquet combo. Total perfection. She married Johnny in Cornwall during April and the wedding only cost £5000.

A Seaside Themed Wedding in St Ives: Suzy & Christian

July 20, 2012
When the deputy editor of Cosmopolitan Magazine gets married, you just know it's going to be awesome right? Well Suzy & her fiance Christian didn't disappoint when planning their summer wedding. Choosing St Ives, Cornwall as the location, what could be more apt than a seaside themed wedding?!
"We met at journalism school in London in 1999 and were friends for five years before we eventually got together," began Suzy. "Even though we live in London (and I'm from Oxford), we never discussed getting married anywhere but St Ives. It's the place my dad's been to on holiday ever year since he was a baby - so the place I've been to on holiday every year too. It's the most beautiful seaside town with gorgeous cobbled streets and the most spectacular beaches. It feels magical and we wanted to share it with all our friends."

Charlotte and Sean's colourful retro wedding was held at The Marine Theatre, Lyme Regis, with their ceremony at Forde Abbey in Chard. Their theme was a vintage street party and having the day in two places meant the bridal party got a ride in a stretch Chevy limo midway through, complete with retro jukebox pumping out some old school tunes!

Helen and Rich are hooked on the TV series, Peaky Blinders, so when they came to plan their Manchester wedding, they based it on their favourite show. "It was only natural that we decided to join the Brummy gang for our wedding day", Helen explained. "Also, Rich's father grew up not that far from the real Peaky Blinders gang, he has Irish heritage, and I have always been obsessed by the 1920s. It just made sense."

A Great Gatsby & Peacock Themed Wedding at Nonsuch Mansion: Chloe & Michael

July 25, 2012
The first thing Chloe & Michael decided upon for their wedding was the venue. They picked Nonsuch Mansion, in the heart of Nonsuch Park, as it held great sentimental meaning to them. They'd spent a lot of time there thoughout their relationship and so having the wedding there made total sense. "The mansion is built on the site of Henry VIII’s long gone Nonsuch Palace and is located in the middle of a huge park that we live within a few minutes walk of," Chloe explained. "The park is very important to us and we spend lots of time in there, running, walking, picking berries, lazing in the sun with a beer etc when the seasons are right! In fact, it was lazing in the shade of a tree just by the mansion on a sunny afternoon when we first said 'I love you' - so it’s a pretty special place. Choosing the venue really was a no-brainer for us!"

An Art Deco Plaza Cinema Wedding: John & Aggie
Kat
August 30, 2012
Doesn't John & Aggie's wedding looks like it's stepped right out of the 1920s? I don't think I've ever seen an era executed quite so well in a real wedding of late. I am in awe! The wedding was held at the The Plaza Super Cinema & Variety Theatre in Stockport. The original art deco architecture and features remain which made it the perfect venue for their day. "Our venue was excellent value as the entire cinema including tea rooms can be hired for only £700", explained the bride. "Their three course meal started at only £15 per head too. Plus it was great to support such a wonderful art deco gem that has been lovingly restored!"
