“Our theme was nature and DIY, paper and origami,” newlywed Roxy wrote. “Being a designer, it was important to me that we personalize our wedding and that we showcase our creativity. It was an opportunity to get crafty with friends and to add a more personal touch to our wedding décor.”
Roxy & Tanner went with the bride’s favourite colour combo for their wedding theme – purple and green. They also handcrafted most of the decorations including making all the paper flowers, pomanders, origami cranes, manzanita and willow branch centre pieces, stained glass mason jars and the guestbook. “I’ve always loved origami as an art form since I was a child and it holds sentimental value as it was my Father who first taught me how to fold a paper crane,” Roxy continued. “Origami cranes are also perfect for weddings asthey symbolize love, peace, longevity and patience.”
Thanks to Roxy & Tanner and their photographer Heather for sharing this beautifully personal wedding with us today.

Mr & Mrs Tattooboy’s Heavily Tattooed, Ass Kickin’ Rockabilly Wedding

Do you remember Mr & Mrs Tattooboy? The hot tattooed couple behind one of my favourite ever engagement sessions? Well check it out - they got hitched and I've got the exclusive on their killer wedding. When the couple first met, Kori was a cheerleader and Matt was a rocker and a tattooed artist. They soon fell in love and Kori starting getting just as much ink as her man!
"Kori & Matt’s aka Mr. & Mrs. Tattooboy, have this incredible rockabilly style & then some!!!" photographer Christina told me. "When I asked Kori about the details of her wedding she just told me she wanted it to be different from the normal-cheesy-blah type weddings, this made me really happy that she wasn’t giving in to what everyone else in the world was doing! Their unusual story & love for tattoos & rockabilly style was inspiration enough for these two lovers to plan their wedding."

Ahh Emily & Chris' Florida nuptials is what my wedding dreams are made of. Getting ready in the Hard Rock Hotel (my spiritual home for sure) this achingly cool pair had their beautiful wedding at Ybor City Museum Garden in Tampa. Emily wore the Greenbow lace gown by BHLDN and Miu Miu shoes, while Chris kept it casual yet chic in a checked shirt and a vintage velvet jacket combo. The 1970s is an era that many might feel should be left back with the flares, disco and Woodstock hippies, but I'm am here to tell you the exact opposite. How bloody cool are these two?!

Insane Italian Vintage Circus Wedding: Michelangelo & Francilla

Unlike so many Italian weddings that they'd been to before, Michelangelo and Francilla wanted a day that was big, ridiculous and most of all fun! They went for a vintage circus theme, and oh boy, they really did go all out on the theme! Francilla told me all about it, "In Italy it’s quite impossible to have a different wedding and not do everything traditionally. It’s so hard to get away from the 'rules' that everyone says you have to obey, but we worked hard to make sure we did! We would have never been happy to marry in this way, and luckily our families knew it!"
