Annette & Chris had a fancy dress/steampunk themed wedding in Liverpool. The bride wore a corset purchased from Corsets UK and a skirt from MTCoffinzUnderground on Etsy. “My dress wasn’t technically a ‘dress’ as it was a Corset and a separate skirt,” the bride told me. “I bought the white and black steel boned corset for around £60 and the skirt, which was described as a ‘Victorian Lace Gothic Ball Gown’, cost around £100.” She also wore Victorian-style black ankle boots which she hired from a fancy dress shop! Chris hired his unique outfit from a fancy dress shop too.
“The groom came up with the whole idea of a Victorian Circus themed wedding,” explained Annette. “We’re not ‘average’ kind of people and didn’t want to settle on an ‘average’ wedding, so it had to be fancy dress! Although we took our vows to each other seriously, we don’t believe a wedding should be a completely serious affair. It’s a great excuse to get dressed up and have a massive party with all of your friends and family, which is what we did! I think that’s what makes us so Rock n Roll. Everyone said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, including their own!”
Huge love and thanks to Annette & Chris and their photographer Wayne for sharing these today

Scarlet & Craig's wedding wowed me as soon as I spied that dress. I was so excited to be able to share this incredible Goth extravaganza and luckily for you lot, so were the newlyweds. In fact Craig's reply when I emailed him back saying 'Yes yes, hell yes (ps your wife is hot)' was something along the lines of 'OMG so excited that you're going to feature us!!! Squeeee'.
"I'd never really thought about my wedding day growing up, so when Craig proposed on a trip to Amsterdam (with a tattoo that simply said 'Marry Me' on his wrists!) I was thrown into a bit of a panic!" Scarlet explained. "But as soon as we started planning we knew we wanted to do things our own way. Luckily we found Rock n Roll Bride, which made us realise there really are no 'rules' for a wedding, and then we just went all out! We didn't start out with one, but as we went along we developed a kind of pink and black gothic fairytale theme, pink being my favourite colour, and black being Craig's!

She wore a corset from Baba Studio with an AMAZING purple and turquoise skirt, made for her by Sisters of the Moon on Etsy. Her biker boots were from eBay.

Jess and Matt were married at a cemetery. Although this might sound a bit 'weird', they thought it was anything but, "Many people get married in a church, and pretty much all churches have graveyards so our venue was not too far from the ordinary when you think about it", Jess said. "Arnos Vale is a place we hold deep affection for, so the surroundings were the focal point and the building was an aside."

Pixie and Jak didn't want to spent a huge amount to get married, so planned a wedding to reflect their love of pirates (the groom) and gothic elements (the bride) with a budget of £7500. "In the early stages of preparing for our big day, we decided to do it all ourselves", said Pixie, "which meant that we could get the style that is personal to ourselves. It also helped us to keep within the budget."
