I’ve devoured this course over the last few days and I can’t help but rave about how awesome it is! I literally feel like I could reel off paragraphs and paragraphs to illustrate how inspiring her blogging experience is and how relevant her tips and ideas are, but I must hold back so you can find out for yourself. “I know, I know… You’re supposed to “just be yourself”. That’s obvious, right? Well, here’s the thing. Communicating online is completely different from communicating in person. There’s no tone, there’s no inflection, there’s no expression. You have to create a personality through text and photos. To be clear, you should definitely communicate your real personality and not a made up one (that’s weird!)… however, it’s just different. Personalities are complex and a lot gets lost in translation. It’s up to you, the blogger, to learn to convey a genuine personality with your writing style.”
