Rae & Dylan’s wedding took place at The Enchanted Barn in Hillsdale, WI which worked out perfect for their rustic and enchanted vintage theme. Rae looked every bit the vintage princess in her pink Sarah Seven dress, Whichgoose headpiece and vintage gloves.
“We envision our wedding to be simple, but well planned and organized,” they explained. “Our theme was definitely very vintage inspired, with the right amount of whimsy and humor. The decor and look of the wedding was almost a summertime tea party, with beautiful flowers in mason jars (dahlias, snapdragons, tuberoses), antique plates as centerpieces and cupcakes with sweet handmade flags on each. We are not super formal people, so we wanted our wedding to feel comfortable, approachable and fun. We hoped our guests could be themselves and have a great time laughing and dancing.”
“Our wedding was special because it was all about getting together the people we love to celebrate us tying the knot after seven awesome years of courtship. We both come from musical families (our dad’s collaborated to play some songs at our wedding) and we also made a home recorded CD-R for our favors. Picking our playlist for the wedding was our number one priority. We curated a playlist over many evenings of dancing stupidly in our living room.”
Massive thanks to Rae & Dylan and their photographer Molly for sharing these today

When it came to organising their wedding, Jess and Tony had one thing in mind - family. This was their second time around (yes, they married each other twice!!) and this time they wanted to do things completely on their own terms. "Our wedding was shabby, ethereal, vintage, pin-up, country and quirky", explained the bride. "Basically, it was anything but normal!"

October 16, 2013
Tim and Scarlett were married on 8th August, their five year anniversary. They had a church ceremony followed by a tea party reception in the gardens of Baxby Manor, a gorgeous 705 year old Manor house. "We knew that we wanted somewhere beautiful, and Baxby ticked all the boxes", Scarlett began. "It even came with a glamping site down the lane for all our guests to stay over! Baxby isn't a wedding venue, just a luxury holiday letting, but the owners were amazing and let us create a beautiful day there, as if it were our own house."

Natalie & Oliver were married in France, at Oliver's parents home in L’Isle En Dodon. The British couple live in The States but made the trip to France to marry surrounded by their friends and family. "The French countryside and beautiful barn were our main inspiration and did a lot of the hard work for us!" explained the pair. "The family setting and DIY approach gave the wedding a really personal touch, which we would never have been able to achieve in a more traditional venue, and gave the wedding an incredibly unique feel. So many people contributed to making the wedding as amazing as it was – it really was a family affair and those invites, certainly a labour of love!"

Darren & Taryn were married on 03/03/13 and 3 minutes past 3... and although they had a limited budget, they created a wedding that was both sweet and beautiful but edgy and fun! "We chose all the 3's because we loved the symbolism of the energy surrounding the number", explained the bride. "In numerology the energy of the number 3 is optimistic and fun-loving, and strives to uplift and colour its surroundings. They tend to be the 'joker', have a wonderful sense of humour and are very charismatic."

I know having favourites is bad... especially in my game... but, honestly, if I was held at gun point and asking to choose, I might be swayed towards Made U Look Photography. They are, without a doubt, some of the sweetest and most talented babes about. I love them endlessly and their photography fills my heart with joy.
So obviously getting a submission from Christina, Alie & Marielle is a red letter day in my book. I feel like all my Christmases have come at once when I first clap eyes on stunning wedding images like this:
