I may not have seen anything so gloroius in a long time. This venue is STUNNING. What a unusual and spectacular place for a wedding.
Jen & Lou chose Adventure Aquarium to play host to their wedding reception. With the sea life swimming all around them all evening, teamed with their subtle beach theme, the scene was most certainly set for a very different wedding. Jen also chose a very floaty/flowing gown by Kleinfeld Bridal whcih almost looked like crashing waves around her. A-mazing!
Thanks to Jen & Lou and to their photographer Kamila for sharing this incredible wedding with us

Marina & Phil wanted a small and intimate destination wedding in Maui. They love to travel and adore the water so a ceremony at Ali'i Kula Lavender Farm followed by an after dinner boat cruise was perfect! "We love the outdoors", Marina wrote. "In particular, we love picnics with a great view. That's what we ended up doing - a wonderful picnic on a mountain on a tropical island. We laugh that we could not decide whether to get married on a mountain or on a tropical island, so did both. We also decided to have our wedding on the 4th of July because we wanted fireworks!"

A power cut the morning of the wedding might be most couple's worst nightmare, but Tyler and Jodi embraced it! The wedding was held at a private beach house in Malibu and the lack of power actually made their wedding even more special. Sure, they they had to get a bit creative with some aspects, such as the bride having to air-dry her hair, serving a BBQ for the meal and having no entertainment or music, but it really worked out so well! They even had candles and sparklers at the table which looked amazing!

When wedding photographer Matt Miller emailed me to tell me he'd shot the wedding of Winston McCall, lead singer of Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive, and asking if I'd like to feature it, I nearly fell off my chair. "Er... stupid question!" I replied, "OF COURSE!" He married his high school sweetheart, Jessica, in beautiful Byron Bay on May 11th this year.

I'm not really supposed to have favourites, but Betty might just be one of the most beautiful and radiant brides I've ever seen... I am totally smitten with her 1940s vintage lace dress (bought on eBay for £40!) and that adorable white faux flower crown and simple bouquet combo. Total perfection. She married Johnny in Cornwall during April and the wedding only cost £5000.

Have you ever heard of a couple deciding to get married and do so within 12 short hours? And, no, a couple in a movie don't count! Well that's exactly what Thomas & Kimberly did whilst on holiday in Belize. They were married, just the two of them, in the middle of the ocean, on a sandbar in Ambergris Caye.
