Courtney & Dan got married at MGM signature patio , Las Vegas, and had their Rock n Rollin’ Reception at Diego’s restaurant in MGM . The couple both love Cinco De Mayo, collect hot sauce, their first date was at a Mexican restaurant and they love Mariachi bands, so the wedding has a slight Mexican theme.
Courtney originally had a traditional wedding dress, but a few days before she got on the plane to Vegas she went to the fitting to find her dress was to small. It was fate! Courtney knew there wasn’t going to be enough time to fix it, so she went to a prom shop in Philadelphia and found this gorgeous dress.
As a tattoo artist, there was no way Dan was going to let his bride have all the limelight. He looked fabulous in his sharp, yet funky suit and Vans.
Thanks to the ever delightful Kristen for sharing this wedding with us. I love!

When I featured Ainsley and Sebestien's engagement shoot in September I dubbed it "the coolest engagement shoot to date". I was pretty sure that their wedding would be suitably kick ass too but nothing (and I mean nothing!) could have prepared me for this.
While I was hanging out with their wedding photographer Janneke Storm in Queensland, she started to tell me more about their upcoming elopement in Las Vegas. I made her promise then and there to send me the photos to blog afterwards. Luckily for me (and you!) she did.

Kenzie and Jeremy had one goal for their August wedding - to break Vegas! "As soon as we got engaged we knew we didn't want a typical wedding", said the bride. "We didn't want anything in a church, or anything really traditional. We also knew we didn't want to have anything huge, and one way to eliminate a massive guest list is to make it a destination wedding."

Rainbow Day of the Dead Wedding: James & Ashley

February 18, 2013
High school sweethearts James & Ashley were married at Crane Arts in Philadelphia in October. Despite the Autumnal time of year, the couple didn't want an obvious colour scheme - they wanted a rainbow!
"Our wedding was very DIY", wrote the bride. "My husband and I can be crafty when we want to be and this wedding really let our creative juices flow. I hand painted all of the sugar skulls and signs while Jim was busy building the dance floor and the entranceway. We also got some old doors from my grandmother, painted them and used them for the ceremony backdrop. One thing I am particularly proud of is the beer bottle cap heart that we screwed to a pallet. We of course drank all of the beer ourselves! I also found some amazing Day of the Dead fabric that we used to make the photo booth, Jim's bow-tie, and I also wrapped the flower bouquets in it."

Ellen and Rory were married at Cottiers, a bar, restaurant and theatre venue in the West End of Glasgow. Their day had a bit of a Mexican fiesta feel with the oilcloths and paper banners from Viva la Frida. They also had hand stitched bunting and dried chillis hanging from the ceiling! Most of all though they just wanted a fun day to celebrate with their friends and family.

Choosing October for their wedding was the perfect season for McKenzie and Cory who planned a Nightmare Before Christmas meets gothic wedding. They booked The Artisan Hotel in Vegas as their venue and the fact that it was decorated in an eclectically gothic style already, made it a choice they were happy they made.
