All You Need is Love

I’m a big Beatles fan. I love the emotion and feeling behind their lyrics, so much so that our first dance was ‘All you need is Love’ – the words of which I have tattooed on the inside of my wrist! So when photographer Amelia sent me Rachel & Joey’s Beatles themed engagement sesh, I jumped at the chance of a feature. I adore the adaptions of each song and famous moment – especially of course the John & Yoko Hair Peace Bed Peace scene. How many can you spot?

“Rachel & Joey are huge, and I mean huge Beatles fans” Amelia told me. “They were singing Beatles tunes the entire time we were shooting. For them, peace isn’t a fashion statement, its a lifestyle. They are both flower children and so in love. Rachel plans to walk down the aisle to Here Comes The Sun. For their engagement shoot I definitely wanted to incorporate their love for The Beatles, taking the lyrics of some of their favorite songs literally. I made some props and knew that I wanted to give the pictures a vintage feel.”
