I was blown away by Carla & Neetling’s South African wedding, in particular the phenomenal DIY vintagey, rustic and natural details and her beautiful dress. Carla and her Mum did most of the wedding themselves and loved personalising all the details.
The wedding took place at Kleinevalleij , Wellington SA and Carla looked stunning in her Robyn Roberts dress, Ninon Louw shoes and awesome white lace tights!
Thanks to Lizelle, Carla & Neetling for sharing their glamorous day with us

Darren & Taryn were married on 03/03/13 and 3 minutes past 3... and although they had a limited budget, they created a wedding that was both sweet and beautiful but edgy and fun! "We chose all the 3's because we loved the symbolism of the energy surrounding the number", explained the bride. "In numerology the energy of the number 3 is optimistic and fun-loving, and strives to uplift and colour its surroundings. They tend to be the 'joker', have a wonderful sense of humour and are very charismatic."

And when Ulrike and Dirk started to plan their September wedding they knew that a farm backdrop was perfect for them. "We decided to have a farm theme seeing as our wedding was held at a farm". began the bride. "I was infatuated with the idea of a barn wedding."

Well, apparently they do, and I've got the photographs to prove it. Stand by for some serious wedding envy my friends - That light! That dress! Those model-esque bridesmaids!

I knew this wedding was going to be awesome from the few sneaks I'd seen on her feed but I was little prepared for this level of amazement...

Modern Vintage Weddings
April 3, 2013
Fancy having an eclectic outdoor wedding? Well have I got the inspiration for you today! With a hearty dose of elbow grease and a firm plan of action, Lou & Stu coordinated their Sheffield Botanical Gardens wedding mostly themselves.
"I'm a vintage events organiser so the vintage vibe was a natural way to go", began the bride. "We’re both big 50s & 60s fans so we tried to combine the two in terms of the fashion but we didn't want a fancy dress wedding. My dress was late 50s/early 60s in style (vintage, which I had altered to fit) and Stu’s suit was a 60s style tonic suit from Mod shop Jump the Gun in Brighton."
