Beth Retrois a stock photographer from Essex, England. I came across her gorgeous images via the wonder that is flickr and I straight away knew I'd be sharing these as some non wedding - wedding inspiration.
Whimsical and beautiful, her use of out-of-focus, twinkling lights and bright, luminous colours is right up my street. She also appears as obsessed with balloon as french fancies as I am so it's gotta be good!
For more of Beth's work check out her flickr stream, or herEtsy store of you fancy treating yourself, I know I will be!

Neutral & Neon Bridal Style

Inspiration can hit you anywhere, and for wedding photographer Lindsay Hite, it came while flicking through a fashion magazine. "The trend neutral colors paired with neon in fashion really spoke to me", she told me. "I love the almost surprising contrast between subtlety and outspokenness and was curious about how it would work in a bridal setting. I drew inspiration from far flung corners - from Lana del Rey's flower crowns, to bright bold colors of childhood celebrations and vintage circuses."

Elbie’s Ice Cream Dream
Kat
October 3, 2012
When Lisa & I sit down to plan the Photography Farm styled shoots our criteria is simple - will it be fun and will it fulfill a current obsession? Well I can safely say we hit both those things with this one! Ice Cream Dream was born from our unwavering obsession with rainbow colour palettes and the fact that Hannah, our props stylist, has her own vintage ice cream cart (that she hires out at weddings - don't you just I love this idea!?) Plus the gorgeous Elbie, who we'd roped into modelling for us, is as cute as an actual button and has the most rampant sweet tooth, like, ever. Our plan was for her to look like a sugary sweet treat herself and I think we managed to achieve that pretty well actually! I also can't get over how good she looks with lilac hair. Jealous much?!

A Recycled Wedding Fashion Shoot at Paramount Ranch
Kat
August 3, 2011
"The concept of this photo shoot was 'eco friendly + recycled wedding fashion for modern brides'," photographer Yuna Leonard writes. " Both of the dresses and the boots in this set were found at American Vintage store on Melrose, Los Angeles. I love that store!! I was in love with the ideas of recycling and reusing wedding fashion from days gone by - maybe from brides who were in your Mother's or Grandmother's generations. The dresses I bought were also very inexpensive { from $70 - $ 100. The boots were $50.} We fused this style with an idea for outdoor / backyard styled reception fashion as well. The mixed style of vintage + bohemian + western totally got me this time! Hope you enjoy it!"
