I’m a little bit stuck on where to begin today. Seriously over night my inbox appears to have exploded with wedding goodness on an epic scale…stay tuned you’ll see what I mean.
First up the lovely Chanelle sent me this wedding that her and her hubby shot this weekend. The bride, Sandra, is a fashion designer and so designed and made her own dress complete with a 6 metre train…how phenomenal is it!?!?! And the shoes…ooh don’t get me started on those blinged out treasures.
They were also customised by the bride, she cut them to increase the peep-toe factor and added the bows and sparkles herself. Carrie Bradshaw eat your heart out!
A huge thanks to my good friend Chanelle for sharing this wedding and that dress with us!

Music holds a special place in Katie and Darren’s heart - both musicians, Darren proposed at the gig of one of their favourite bands, and were introduced through musical friends. They’ve always liked to do things a little differently, and so it was obvious from the start that their wedding wouldn’t be predictable. Darren kicked off eschewing the norm when he wrote ‘yes!’ on Katie’s finger with a Sharpie instead of giving her a ring after he proposed!

Perfectly Captured Moments

What I love about Sonya & Toby's Cotswold's wedding was the moments photographer David Jenkins seemed to capture. Subtle, touching, intimate, hilarious...the images just jumped off the screen at me and I felt an instant affinity with the event. I could literally imagine being there.

A Colourful Festival Wedding at Ridge Farm: Layla & Dan
Kat
August 24, 2012
Layla & Daniel were married in Rusper, Sussex in St Mary Magdalene's Church, followed by a festival style wedding at Ridge Farm. I've featured weddings at this iconic wedding venue before - why so iconic you ask? Well the farm has a recording studio where Oasis, Queen (Bohemian Rhapsody was written here!) Roxy Music, Thin Lizzie, Black Sabbath and many many others have recorded albums! AHHHMAZING.
"The wedding was all personalised by me & Dan", wrote Layla, "including the wine glasses, the moustaches & lips, the heart decor, the table plan & numbers, the 'LOVE' sign and the bunting. We had a two-day wedding. From the start we knew we didn’t want everything to be over with in just one day! Ridge Farm was the PERFECT venue as we were able to hire it exclusively from Friday to Monday which meant our parents, brothers & sisters, bridesmaids and best men could share the whole time with us. We also had some friends of ours camping on the grounds. Friday was set-up day, with everyone mucking in; Saturday was the wedding; and on Sunday we had about 100 of our guests returning for a Hog Roast, DJ’s and dancing till the wee hours!"

Comic Book & Superhero Wedding: Holly & Anthony

November 26, 2012
Happy Monday you lovely little critters - have I got a wedding to start this week off with a bang or what!?
Unusually I was actually submitted this wedding by the groom and via twitter because his gorgeous bride, Holly, was nervous about doing so. Er, girl, are you KIDDING me?! I'm dying over your wedding. The comic book, superhero and geek chic radness is just too good. This is one of those weddings that I genuinely wish I'd been invited to!
