Will & Kerr are getting married next month in the glorious San Francisco. Originally from New York, the couple will surely have a super stylish day at Presidio Chapel and Marines’ Memorial Club . Kerr is wearing a dress originally worn by her Grandmother on her first date with her Grandfather which really adds to the personal and intimate feel of this session.
Note: If you too met and fell in love in New York then you better get on a enter the New York film contest . The contest is open for entries until Sunday so hurry up!

"Angelo and I were super lucky to have design/photography duo Everywhere We Shoot on board to do our prenup photography," bride-to-be Rin writes. "These guys are friends who frequent the same gigs, art spaces, and thrift shops that we go to. Their philosophy has always been to keep doing and creating, not for money, but just because they love what they do. And knowing that we were on a budget-DIY-wedding, they agreed to do a pro bono engagement shoot for us in a heartbeat. I was also blessed to have a former schoolmate slash band groupie of mine, Kitty Caragay, do my make-up."

Honestly? I'm not going to pretend that I really understand this shoot... but for some reason I just really love it. It must be the weird juxtaposition between designer handbags, shoes on a roof, giant bunnies and bondage... and hell, I'm not adverse to a bit of randomness!

I wouldn't say I'm a cooking calamity but it's certainly not something I excel at (this coming from the girl who put so much hot sauce on her husband's dinner the other night that he was gulping milk for an hour - ho hum) So I guess you could say that this hilarious engagement shoot set up resonated with me!

Retro Art Deco Kitsch
Kat
July 13, 2010
I LOVE a bit of retro kitsch and Caroline & Jim couldn't be more perfect at pulling this off if they tried. The shoot took place in their own Art Deco apartment in Brighton (just check out the exterior shots!) which has been decorated with an eclectic mix of bits and bobs collected from all over and ranging in era from the 1920's right through to the 1970's. I adore everything from the authentic mirror, clocks and Princess Anne collectible mugs to the incredible wallpaper and all the retro furniture.
Jim is 'Mr B the Gentleman Rhymer' , a brilliant musician playing all over the country at gigs, weddings, parties and festivals. Caroline has a complete passion for fashion as she works in the fashion industry in London. The pair both embrace everything retro and nostalgic in fashion and styling, so their style was spot on for this style of shoot. The couple both wore all their own clothes to give a completely genuine portrayal of themselves and who they are as a couple.

When Christina & Mitch turned up to their engagement session with their beloved '68 Corvette in tow, photographer Clayton Austin was instantly inspired and channeled Steve McQueen as the idea behind the shoot. As a little bit of a petrol head myself, I can totally relate to how Clayton described the day.
