Beth Retro is a stock photographer from Essex, England. I came across her gorgeous images via the wonder that is flickr and I straight away knew I’d be sharing these as some non wedding – wedding inspiration.
Whimsical and beautiful, her use of out-of-focus, twinkling lights and bright, luminous colours is right up my street. She also appears as obsessed with balloon as french fancies as I am so it’s gotta be good!
For more of Beth’s work check out her flickr stream , or her Etsy store of you fancy treating yourself, I know I will be!

A Recycled Wedding Fashion Shoot at Paramount Ranch

"The concept of this photo shoot was 'eco friendly + recycled wedding fashion for modern brides'," photographer Yuna Leonard writes. " Both of the dresses and the boots in this set were found at American Vintage store on Melrose, Los Angeles. I love that store!! I was in love with the ideas of recycling and reusing wedding fashion from days gone by - maybe from brides who were in your Mother's or Grandmother's generations. The dresses I bought were also very inexpensive { from $70 - $ 100. The boots were $50.} We fused this style with an idea for outdoor / backyard styled reception fashion as well. The mixed style of vintage + bohemian + western totally got me this time! Hope you enjoy it!"

Retro Pin Up Valentines Lovelies
Kat
February 6, 2010
With the day of hearts, flowers and lurrrve fast approaching, I have been inundated with Valentine's themed submissions, however this retro/pin up shoot from Jen Will may well be one of my utter favourites.
The shoot took place in her own kitchen which was the perfect setting for the baking theme. "This is part of the reason I love my apartment." Jen tells us "It is the coolest apartment ever, and my love for it is part of the reason I have yet to join the adult world of home ownership. It has a bathroom that would probably rent out as a large bedroom in New York City and a classic stove that came straight from the original Be Witched TV show. No matter where I live in the future, I will always love this place. I am so glad I got to document it in such a special way!"
I have to agree... and seeing these really makes me want to get my arse in gear and decorate our house! Thanks to Jen for sharing these.
