Recently I seem to be sharing more and more photographs from each wedding/photo shoot I’m sent, but you know what? sometimes it’s really too difficult to cut it down, just like this post I’m afraid…
This couple absolutely rocked this session…I could imagine these two as a couple who’ve run away to elope and be in love amongst nature…but maybe that’s just me! The use of the vintage cameras and books in the last few shots is spot on, don’t props rock?!
Thanks Marianne!

Le. Squeeeeeeal!
I have so much to say about this awesome engagement shoot that I almost don't know where to start...maybe the beginning? Photographer Thomas has pretty much hit the jackpot with Bobbi & Shelby - gorgeous, cool, tattooed, individual, up for it - what more could you want?

Soulmates & Magic

Chihye & Tom's LA engagement speaks volumes of their love. From the simple moments between these two to the beautiful field full of ruby red heart balloons - what's not to love about these?
It would appear that photographer Chrissy agrees with me "I don’t know if I have the words to accompany these photos. They truly speak for themselves. A couple so deeply and genuinely in love mixed with God’s beauty creates the most gorgeous moments. Chihye and Tom are another one of my kindful couples, our first meeting lasted hours over Sangria and Cuban food. The longer I do my job the more I believe in soulmates and magic." (and I swear to God I wrote by 'bit' before I even read hers! It must be love...)

Christina & Zack met up with photographers Katelyn Mizell of Split Second Photography and Shauna Maness of Shauna Maness Photography for a flea market inspired, rustic, outdoors engagement shoot. From the vintage finds to the fairy lights, everything about this session screams Rock n Roll perfection.
The clothes were provided by Doris Divine and all the props were sourced from flea markets, charity shops and the like.

Erik & Chelsea have a love of antique-y things: of books, of vintage treats and of the 80's!
"We set out to showcase Erik's passion for cooking & Chelsea's English degree while creating a stylish, quirky- retro-y look" photographers Leslie & Ryan told me. "I must say we were also lucky enough to have full access to Renaissance Antiques, Chelsea's mother's lovely vintage shop! We found the lovely vintage hats there, the old tattered books, even Erik's ties."

Burnt Down House Engagements

Tina & Derek's engagements in a burnt out house are so. damn. cool! I am loving the fireplace, the awesome chair and the feather. These have such an intense beauty to them...much love! Photographer Jen Arthur also shot some post wedding portraits as the couple eloped so didn't have pro wedding photographs, which I can't wait to see too.

‘Til Death Do Us Party Wedding Shoot: Angelo & Rin

"Angelo and I were super lucky to have design/photography duo Everywhere We Shoot on board to do our prenup photography," bride-to-be Rin writes. "These guys are friends who frequent the same gigs, art spaces, and thrift shops that we go to. Their philosophy has always been to keep doing and creating, not for money, but just because they love what they do. And knowing that we were on a budget-DIY-wedding, they agreed to do a pro bono engagement shoot for us in a heartbeat. I was also blessed to have a former schoolmate slash band groupie of mine, Kitty Caragay, do my make-up."

Honestly? I'm not going to pretend that I really understand this shoot... but for some reason I just really love it. It must be the weird juxtaposition between designer handbags, shoes on a roof, giant bunnies and bondage... and hell, I'm not adverse to a bit of randomness!
