A junkyard, a vintage shop, awesome outfits, the longest legs in the world (probably)…what more could you ask for? I want to be this couple…who would have thought you could have so much glamour in one engagement shoot? Also the escalator shot reminded me of our engagement shoot too and that made me happy :o) clicky & clicky !
Thanks Jen, you are actually Rock Stars right? Oh and please can I have your legs!?

When Christina & Mitch turned up to their engagement session with their beloved '68 Corvette in tow, photographer Clayton Austin was instantly inspired and channeled Steve McQueen as the idea behind the shoot. As a little bit of a petrol head myself, I can totally relate to how Clayton described the day.

Dan is the executive producer for a radio station in Orlando (named Monsters in the Morning no less!) and Andrea is his stunning fiance. They chose Leigh Taylor for their engagement shoot (and upcoming wedding) as they knew she's produce images worthy of their Rock n Roll credentials! Love. These.
Thanks to Leigh for sharing these

Retro Art Deco Kitsch
Kat
July 13, 2010
I LOVE a bit of retro kitsch and Caroline & Jim couldn't be more perfect at pulling this off if they tried. The shoot took place in their own Art Deco apartment in Brighton (just check out the exterior shots!) which has been decorated with an eclectic mix of bits and bobs collected from all over and ranging in era from the 1920's right through to the 1970's. I adore everything from the authentic mirror, clocks and Princess Anne collectible mugs to the incredible wallpaper and all the retro furniture.
Jim is 'Mr B the Gentleman Rhymer' , a brilliant musician playing all over the country at gigs, weddings, parties and festivals. Caroline has a complete passion for fashion as she works in the fashion industry in London. The pair both embrace everything retro and nostalgic in fashion and styling, so their style was spot on for this style of shoot. The couple both wore all their own clothes to give a completely genuine portrayal of themselves and who they are as a couple.

Burnt Down House Engagements

Tina & Derek's engagements in a burnt out house are so. damn. cool! I am loving the fireplace, the awesome chair and the feather. These have such an intense beauty to them...much love! Photographer Jen Arthur also shot some post wedding portraits as the couple eloped so didn't have pro wedding photographs, which I can't wait to see too.

‘Til Death Do Us Party Wedding Shoot: Angelo & Rin
Kat
July 22, 2011
"Angelo and I were super lucky to have design/photography duo Everywhere We Shoot on board to do our prenup photography," bride-to-be Rin writes. "These guys are friends who frequent the same gigs, art spaces, and thrift shops that we go to. Their philosophy has always been to keep doing and creating, not for money, but just because they love what they do. And knowing that we were on a budget-DIY-wedding, they agreed to do a pro bono engagement shoot for us in a heartbeat. I was also blessed to have a former schoolmate slash band groupie of mine, Kitty Caragay, do my make-up."

High Fashion Farm Engagement

Honestly? I'm not going to pretend that I really understand this shoot... but for some reason I just really love it. It must be the weird juxtaposition between designer handbags, shoes on a roof, giant bunnies and bondage... and hell, I'm not adverse to a bit of randomness!
