How fabulous does she look in her black and white combo? I am also loving her shoes (check out the heart underneath!)
Katrina & John had a totally private ceremony – just the two of them and their photographer, Aga .

Krista & Uryah had a 1920s style wedding in Snohomish, WA. As a professional seamstress, Krista planned and DIY'd the majority of wedding herself. I have a whole lot of love for this set - her shoes, her back lace umbrella, the cigarette holders - classy and wonderful!
Thanks to Claire for sending me these. Mwah!

Skin Graft, L.A.M.B & Dreadlocks

Kati & Hilal's wedding made me squeal with delight. It may have primarily been her custom made Skin Graft gown, her L.A.M.B shoes and her dreads that made me so excited, but alongside this inital visual feast, the whole laid back ambiance, feel and ethos of the day really makes me happy. Kati explained her choice of dress:
Basically, it came about like this: I had seen and bought a few individual pieces of Skin Graft attire during the past few years, and then I noticed that they had a few weddings (within their "gallery".) I started an email conversation with them about a year before the wedding. (Skin Graft consists of 3 core designers and at least one wedding/custom gown assistant. I envisioned the outfit with Cassidey (one of the core 3) and then he passed me off to Amanda (wedding attire assistant) who finished the project off. We discussed different types of dresses they had already made, and different things I liked/didn't like. They sent photos of previous work, and drawings of my potential gown back and forth via email. I was measured in San Antonio, and sent the measurements to LA. When I received the dress I had to have it altered a little, but Skin Graft reimbursed me for the alteration fees.

Quirky, Colourful, Kitsch

I am crazy in love with Tanya & Mark's amazingly colourful DIY wedding! The event took place in Tanya's parent's backyard in Northampton, PA and totally reflected the couple's quirky, colourful, kitschy nature. They really put 100% of themselves into the day. Tanya made the invitations, the felt flowers, the centrepieces and most of the decorations herself and all of the tables were covered with unique vintage fabric sourced from various places throughout the wedding planning. One of my favourite details had got to be the pink flamingos everywhere though! Tanya says she has a slight obsession with John Waters so this detail was a must!
Tanya found her and her Bridesmaid's dress from Ebay and her amazing red birdcage veil from Events and Occasions. Her shoes were from Modcloth and her red petticoat was found at Unique Vintage.
Thanks to Tanya and Mark for sharing their day and all the gorgeous details with us!

All the Luck of the Irish

You might remember Maggie & Sean from their rockabilly engagements in an Irish pub. Well photographer Karen Lisa just sent me their wedding, which rocks just as hard!
The wedding ceremony was held at a small park across from the couple's apartment in downtown Boca Raton and the reception was at the Spanish River Library outside on the terrace. For wedding favors, Maggie & Sean had custom labels made for their favorite Irish Cider, Magners, and they created a replica of their favorite pub to serve as the bar. At one point the couple even got behind the bar to tend and serve drinks themselves. The guests had a blast! The music was played by a rockabilly band, Slip & the Spin Outs. Aaron's Catering of The Palm Beaches provided a unique menu of 50's diner style food made elegant - mini slider burgers, lobster rolls, grilled cheese sticks in a mini martini glass, and delicious desserts. The cake was designed by a friend of the family and featured the bride and groom enjoying their Magner's Irish Cider - complete with tiny bottles and labels. It was one of the most unique and personal cake toppers I've ever seen!
Thanks to Karen for sharing this fabulous wedding with us today

I was convinced this wedding was a styled shoot with models. Convinced. These kinds of beautiful people don't exist in real life do they?!
Well, apparently they do, and I've got the photographs to prove it. Stand by for some serious wedding envy my friends - That light! That dress! Those model-esque bridesmaids!
