I really love discovering little gems like this…Erica Salas Adams is an aspiring photographer that found me through Facebook (OK so she discovered me but I like to take the credit!) and send me this gorgeous engagement session that she took of her brother and his fiance.
Erica says:I am a wife, mama, artist and aspiring photographer. I love being all of the above. I remember how excited I was when I got my first disk camera when I was 9 years old. Going to Thrifty’s and eagerly awaiting the chance to tear open my envelope and see the pictures of my friends and family. I want that feeling to never end. It’s so exciting to capture life’s most fleeting moments . Share what is beautiful. Say do you see what see? I love life. I love moments. I love color and texture and sweetness of it all. It's such an honour that someone would send me a session to post only the day after they shot it! Photographer Ben Godkin was so convinced that Mandy & Braxton's engagement session was perfect for Rock n Roll Bride that he didn't hesitate to email me some images - even before the whole set was complete!
"The couple , who are fierce backgammon players, were so fun and wanted to get some unique shots for their engagement photos! Ben wrote. "They were staying at a cozy little Bed and Breakfast called Settlers Crossing in Fredericksburg to finalize the details of their small wedding at Beckers wine vineyard in Sept. Mandy and Braxton had many tattoos but two that were particularly meaningful. They both had "Soul Mates" tattooed on both hands so when they joined hands they would always be reminded of their love. There was an abundance of farm animals on the property including horses, sheep, and donkeys, so we couldn't resist using them in the shoot. Then we headed to a local land mark called Enchanted Rock and made the 20min hike up just in time to watch the sunset, and the full moon rise... It was magical!"

Chihye & Tom's LA engagement speaks volumes of their love. From the simple moments between these two to the beautiful field full of ruby red heart balloons - what's not to love about these?
It would appear that photographer Chrissy agrees with me "I don’t know if I have the words to accompany these photos. They truly speak for themselves. A couple so deeply and genuinely in love mixed with God’s beauty creates the most gorgeous moments. Chihye and Tom are another one of my kindful couples, our first meeting lasted hours over Sangria and Cuban food. The longer I do my job the more I believe in soulmates and magic." Autumn is most definitely here isn't it? Although it's getting colder (and in the UK's case much rainier) we do get some gorgeous colours and light at this time of year. San Francisco based Jerry & Ingrid Yoon were lucky enough to photograph the gorgeous Rosann & Josh frolicking in the autumn leaves for their recently engagement session. These images make me feel all together a little bit less blue about the impending season.
