I have an admission to make...I SUCK at Photography Friday. Like seriously suck. I let these posts slip a little at the begining of the year and now I've realised it's been 6 weeks since I posted anything! I love my Canon and it's really handy to have but let's be honest, a) I'm no pro photographer - hence I keep getting frustrated that my photos are rubbish and b) my life really isn't that exciting and I actually don't know what to take photos of!

Those of you that follow me on Twitter, will know that I've had a bit of a rough week. Being a work-a-holic is often not so good for your health and (yet again) my body has screamed 'arrrgh, need to rest' and I've contracted glandular fever or tonsillitis (the doctors have done a blood test to see which one, if either, it is.) Aaanyway, needless to say I haven't felt much like taking pretty pictures this week, so instead I though I'd use this edition of Photography Friday to direct you towards a project set up by some of my favourite girls - Emma Case, Anna Hardy, Debs Ivelja and Joanna Brown. The project is called From Our Hearts to Our Hands.

Myself, Charley of London Bride, Lucy of Lucy Ledger Designs, Debbie of DC Bouquets and Kelly of Boho Weddings headed out into the deepest depths of east London. These photos made me laugh. A lot.

This morning I went to meet my Mum and Sister for a coffee. Rachel (the sister not the kitten!) is so photogenic it's unreal. Can you believe she doesn't think she is? Plus she doesn't even wear make up on her skin...Seriously, is this girl nuts!? She is utterly beeeautiful!

Yeah..this is kinda late but I'm not going to apologise for wanting to stay in and keep warm last week! Minus 2 is not my idea of a fun time. However I did want to share a few snowy pictures with you so this weekend I put on my faux fur coat and trusty Superdry boots (my current daily uniform of choice) and bravely wondered outside into the deep freeze. Our sprinkling of snow certainly isn't as deep as many places in the UK right now, but the slightly frosted scenes did make for some super pretty pictures. Oh and how cute is freezy cold Gareth?!

Rachel had been feeling a little miffed that Henry was getting more blog/twitter love than her. The quieter and more reserved kitten, she was often pushed to the side in the fame stakes due to Henry's ridiculous and hilarious daily antics. "I know," she thought "I'll slip on these 3D glasses Mummy got in the post last week from her friend Amma...that will get me some air time." She was right you know.

My friend Emma Case came to visit us this week and while she was here we did an impromptu photo shoot in our garden and bedroom. Those of you that follow me on Twitter will know this already, but on Monday I fainted, fell down the stairs, knocked myself out and chipped a back tooth (note to self: don't try and climb stairs when feeling faint.) I'm ok now, the doctor said it was just 'one of those things' and that I'm fine. However I have been feeling a little sorry for myself this week so I cancelled all my appointments and spent most of this week in my PJ's writing and chilling out at home.

I am so excited about today's Photography Friday post because I am revealing some behind the scenes shots from what I got up to this week. As always, I was a mean old tease on Twitter & Facebook and I was pretty coy about what I was doing, but I think most of you probably twigged that it was another photo shoot. However, what was kept top top secret was that the shoot was for a brand new super sleek tattoo magazine! The article on me, Rock n Roll Bride and tattooed weddings (hello, how awesome?!) but it isn't out until November, so unfortunately I can't share the favourite/final shots that are going to be used in the mag until then. However photographer Al Overdrive was kind enough to take and edit some especially for the blog so I hope they and these sneaky sneak peeks will keep you entertained until then.

Today I went into town with my sister Rachel (and yes I did name my cat after her!) It just so happens to be totally gorgeous so I forced her to play model all day. Encouraged by a lot of your comments this week saying you wanted to see more of my photographs (I've just bought myself an SLR - Canon 500d to be exact - to play with) I've come up with a new feature. Actually, I'd like to credit this new feature to Henry & Rachel (my Maine Coons.) While I was taking some photographs of them, I wondered how I could share them with you all on the blog - which is clearly a wedding blog - without you all questioning my sanity.
