As you can see, I’m already trying to take on board everything you guys have been saying in your survey responses. Surprisingly (to me!) a huge number of you want to know more about little ol’ me..so here we go…my very first tentative steps towards becoming a video blogger!
Arrgh…Just in case you can’t tell (although I’m sure you all can!) I was super nervous doing this, I love having my photograph taken, but being filmed is scary!! No photoshop! I just wanted to let you know a little more about me and open the floodgates for my new, and hopefully exciting little venture.Behold…
A Bride takes a deep breath and walks with trepidation down a long church aisle. The classical music swells, a shot of the gathered congregation smiling and her proud father shedding a tear.
The classic wedding video – bringing such joy to the married couple and usually such boredom to the family and friends forced to watch it over and over.
When Gareth and I got married we choose not to have a wedding video for precisely this reason.Quite apart form the fact that employing a half decent videographer can cost as much, if not more, than the photographer, do you really want to end up with something your never going to watch again?Or worse still are going to keep watching over and over!?
However I’m open to convincing.I want to see your wedding videos…wedding videos that won’t make me barf and wedding videos that show the real you. One of the first, and only videos I’ve seen and actually enjoyed enough to watch the whole way through, is that of The Unbride, Justine Ungaro and her Husband Gary who alongside their videographers Monachetti, shot a fantastically original, rock video stylee video that I was more an happy to sit through.
