This is a little bit freaky… so if you’re scared of clowns, mimes or circus freaks I suggest you look away now!
For their engagement shoot, fancy dress loving Neill & Niamh decided they wanted to dress as mimes. This quirky pair didn’t want a traditional or boring engagement session – they wanted to add some personality!
So they gathered some inspiration from the internet and went shopping for their outfits. All the props were all their own and as fate would have it, the circus came to town just down the road from where they live, so they asked the owner if they could shoot there.
The couple are getting married this weekend in a theatre, and judging on these images alone, it’s sure to be another theatrical production!
I’m looking forward to seeing the wedding already – thank you to Neill & Niamh and their wedding photographer Christina Brosnan for sharing with us today.

I must preface this feature by letting you all know that this is an explicit photo session, and one that not everyone will be comfortable looking at. But in the spirit of Rock n Roll Bride being about self-expression and doing whatever is right for you and your partner, I really wanted to share it! There are a lot of NSFW photos featured below and while I personally think they're really tastefully done and the story behind them is one worth sharing, I understand that not everyone will agree.

Confession time: I've never seen Game of Thrones. I know, I know, my geek credentials should be thrown out of the window and I should hang my head in shame... But needless to say I know a good thing when I see it, and Karlee & Justin's engagement shoot certainly fits that bill.
Vancouver Island in British Columbia was the perfect spot for this DIY shoot - oh yes, I said DIY - the pair made their outfits themselves from scratch!

‘Til Death Do Us Party Wedding Shoot: Angelo & Rin

"Angelo and I were super lucky to have design/photography duo Everywhere We Shoot on board to do our prenup photography," bride-to-be Rin writes. "These guys are friends who frequent the same gigs, art spaces, and thrift shops that we go to. Their philosophy has always been to keep doing and creating, not for money, but just because they love what they do. And knowing that we were on a budget-DIY-wedding, they agreed to do a pro bono engagement shoot for us in a heartbeat. I was also blessed to have a former schoolmate slash band groupie of mine, Kitty Caragay, do my make-up."
