There are few things I love more than a beautiful pink haired bride. So when Bella Angelina’s (yes, I know, best name ever!) bridal shoot sent over by Veronica Lane Photography I was thrilled .
“Angelina is a locally known artist who also teaches art classes to children at the one of the galleries in Chatham-Kent, Ontario (Canada),” Veronica told me. “Angelina has been ‘pink’ for 6 years and has no intention of letting the look fade away any time soon. She did her own hair and makeup for the session and made the white wedding dress shown in the photos herself!”
“I met Angelina at a social event after returning from an inspiring trip to Versailles. I was immediately inspired by her creative and whimsical style which reminded me of Marie Antoinette’s image. We come from a small conservative community (aka a lot of retirees!), so she is pretty unforgettable! Shortly after the social event I approached her to do a styled shoot. We literally had a 10×7 bit of space to work in! The weather wasn’t cooperating with us so we were very limited to the natural light of the studio. I adore that Angelina’s style is quite authentic as she gets ‘made up’ everyday! She is a true old soul!”
Agreed. Totally gorgeous girl! Thank you to Bella Angelina’ and Veronica Lane for sharing this beautiful shoot with us today.

London wedding photographer Ann Charlotte set up this morning's editorial shoot in order to showcase an idea she'd had running through her head for a while. "I love fairytales and this fictional fairytale wedding/fashion shoot was inspired by Alice in Wonderland and the idea of a runaway bride. I wanted to shoot a misunderstood bride, running away from her wedding in tears. After some soul searching she eventually came back home to a waiting husband-to-be and a reconciliation."

A photo shoot featuring the Rock n Roll Bride planning notebooks!? Oh yes that's one sure-fired way to get my attention!
"We styled the whole shoot ourselves using items from eBay (and of course the Rock n Roll Bride notebook," photographer Jaye of Tux & Tales Photography told me. "We decided we would do a few styled shoots ourselves on a shoestring budget. I think it is a great way to show brides that they can have a fun and fab style with a little pocket change and a lot of elbow grease. I hope you enjoy my ultra-rad millinery. Picture me sitting on the living room floor, feathers flying everywhere whilst my cat tries to run off with the hat in his mouth every time I turn around to get another feather. The bouquet I made myself out of crepe paper. Boo (our model) is a burlesque performer so she did her own hair & make up!"

Anthropologie & Rustic Farm Elegance with a Rock n Roll Twist
Kat

Oh squeeeeal! I'm not sure I can say anything more intellectual about Luke & Charis' wedding, in fact I think only 'squeeeal' will cover it. So. Much. Awesome!
"This couple was married in a barn at Sharon Rose Farm in Greenville SC" photographer Anna told me "The bride is a hair stylist, the groom is a drummer - so the music and the style was fabulous and original. I thought what was so rock n roll about this wedding was that the bride made surprise stick-on tattoos to replicate her new husband's favorite tattoo on his arm, and all the guests had a mini tattoos during the reception just like the groom!"
Charis wore a dress from David's Bridal and she asked her bridesmaids to simply pick their own black dress.
When Charis and her bridesmaids walked into the venue someone said, "It looks like an anthropologie catalogue just walked in!" The ceremony and reception were held in a beautiful red renovated horse barn. It was such a nice mix of rustic farm, elegant chandeliers and vintage flare. There were mason jars with wild flowers, and baskets of peanuts on cocktail tables as guests mingled and sipped lemonade before the entering the barn. An old typewriter was used as a to write notes to the bride and groom, and a sweet bird cage to put them in.
Just sit back and enjoy these - I know you will!
Thanks to Anna for sharing this amazing wedding with us
