Erinn & Brandon’s Nashville wedding was an elegant and modern affair with a touch of rockabilly and country charm.
The couple chose Aerial as the location for their wedding. They had their ceremony and reception on the rooftop, overlooking the city – a perfectly modern backdrop. “We chose Aerial not just because it was rooftop, but because it was above all of the honky tonks that make Nashville what it is” the couple to me. “We wanted it to be elegant, with a glimmer of rockabilly and country in the background. The glow of the city lights and neon from below was perfect!”
So where does the rockabilly and country charm come in you ask? Well, Elvis is obviously a big deal in Tenessee so the statue made an apperance in quite a few of their photographs. Their recessional music was also “Glenn Miller “in the Mood”. Not your usual wedding music but it certainly set the tone of the night.
Huge thanks to photographer Holly for sharing this fabulous wedding with us today

Carrie and Neil had a red and white wedding with rockabilly and polka dot touches! The day was held at Highbury Hall in Birmingham and was full of DIY décor. "We would like to think we were far more relaxed, friendly and laid-back than other wedding we have been to", began the bride. "So many weddings we have been to seem so stiff and uptight as a whole. We wanted a fun party atmosphere with a live band playing lots rockabilly, plenty of food for people to stuff their faces, and encouraged dancing until your feet dropped off. The word 'formal' never entered our vocabulary."

When I get wedding submissions like Nathan & Laura's I'm literally bursting at the seams to get them published. So sometimes I sneakily share a picture or two on my facebook page. The shot I shared of Nathan's reaction when seeing his bride walking down the aisle totally encompassed this awesome wedding. And it would appear you guys loved it too - over 200 likes and I didn't even show you the stunning bride! Well the wait is over my friends, I'm sure you'll agree it was worth it and that his face was 100% justified. Just look at her!

The idea behind Tim and Holli's wedding was for it to reflect the things they love, so they opted for a vintage, tattoo and 1950s inspired day. They added personal touches by making the centrepieces themselves, Holli also made her own bouquet from 12 red roses.

Amy and Steve got engaged while on a road trip around America and so an American themed wedding seemed like the most perfect option for them! These guys didn't go for a subtle homage though, they went all out! "Our wedding was a little slice of American pie", Amy began. "We got engaged two years ago on a road trip around the southern states of America. Steve got down on one knee over a BBQ of ribs and beer in the mountains of Virginia. It was the perfect setting and was amongst many aspects of that trip that made it one of our most memorable journeys together."

This laid back couple met online and spent their first dates huddled on Laura's sofa, watching movies and eating food that she'd cooked. So needless to say when it came to their wedding they wanted to keep it as low key as possible too. "We have always been such an easy couple, lots of love and not much hassle of going overboard with things", Laura explained. "His proposal a year after we met was perfect. We were in the mall and he pulled me into a photo booth and he proposed while the photos were being taken inside. It was perfect!"
