Amanda & Byron got married in April at The Lake House Inn – Perkasie, PA . The couple met while working at the Trocadero Theater in Philadelphia. He was the though security guard and she was the box office girl/cocktail waitress.
Their proposal story is so adorable I had to share it before you see their awesome tattooed wedding. “On a hot summer day in July 2008 we decided to drive to Hamburg, PA and hike up to the Pinnacle, which overlooks the vast Lehigh Valley” Amanda told me. “We are not avid hikers – we just like nature.
We started the hike up the trail which began as a small incline then transitioned to a steep climb. Our hike turned into more or a crawl (mostly for Amanda) as we pulled ourselves up the ridiculously vertical trail. After a few breaks and questioning our fate, we decided to hike back down the trail and find a nice place to relax and have our picnic. The climb down was just as difficult – but filled with laughter and exhaust we were having a wonderful time.”
“Once on flat ground we made our way to a small lake and found a shady spot to unwind. It was a beautiful and peaceful moment as Byron began expressing his love and longing to spend the rest of our lives together. I began to get very excited and a little teary eyed. He then brought out a ring and popped the question! I immediately said yes, cried, and asked where he had been keeping the ring on our hike!? It was the most perfect setting and way from him to ask me to marry him. Shortly after we called our family and friends to share our excitement!”
Thanks to photographer Mike for sharing these wonderful images and Amanda & Byron for sharing their story with us today

When I featured Ainsley and Sebestien's engagement shoot in September I dubbed it "the coolest engagement shoot to date". I was pretty sure that their wedding would be suitably kick ass too but nothing (and I mean nothing!) could have prepared me for this.
While I was hanging out with their wedding photographer Janneke Storm in Queensland, she started to tell me more about their upcoming elopement in Las Vegas. I made her promise then and there to send me the photos to blog afterwards. Luckily for me (and you!) she did.

Do you remember Mr & Mrs Tattooboy? The hot tattooed couple behind one of my favourite ever engagement sessions? Well check it out - they got hitched and I've got the exclusive on their killer wedding. When the couple first met, Kori was a cheerleader and Matt was a rocker and a tattooed artist. They soon fell in love and Kori starting getting just as much ink as her man!
"Kori & Matt’s aka Mr. & Mrs. Tattooboy, have this incredible rockabilly style & then some!!!" photographer Christina told me. "When I asked Kori about the details of her wedding she just told me she wanted it to be different from the normal-cheesy-blah type weddings, this made me really happy that she wasn’t giving in to what everyone else in the world was doing! Their unusual story & love for tattoos & rockabilly style was inspiration enough for these two lovers to plan their wedding."

Ahh Emily & Chris' Florida nuptials is what my wedding dreams are made of. Getting ready in the Hard Rock Hotel (my spiritual home for sure) this achingly cool pair had their beautiful wedding at Ybor City Museum Garden in Tampa. Emily wore the Greenbow lace gown by BHLDN and Miu Miu shoes, while Chris kept it casual yet chic in a checked shirt and a vintage velvet jacket combo. The 1970s is an era that many might feel should be left back with the flares, disco and Woodstock hippies, but I'm am here to tell you the exact opposite. How bloody cool are these two?!

Insane Italian Vintage Circus Wedding: Michelangelo & Francilla

Unlike so many Italian weddings that they'd been to before, Michelangelo and Francilla wanted a day that was big, ridiculous and most of all fun! They went for a vintage circus theme, and oh boy, they really did go all out on the theme! Francilla told me all about it, "In Italy it’s quite impossible to have a different wedding and not do everything traditionally. It’s so hard to get away from the 'rules' that everyone says you have to obey, but we worked hard to make sure we did! We would have never been happy to marry in this way, and luckily our families knew it!"

Tattoos, tears and a seriously cute couple. Toni & Colin's wedding is what my dreams are made of. These guys are THE perfect Rock n Roll couple and they're wedding slays me. Plus they had Sassy of Assassynation as their wedding photographer so they instantly go way up in the cool stakes with me!
The wedding was held at The Quay, Musselburgh, on 10th November. "Colin and I met online what feels like a life time ago but wasn't all that long ago in the grand scheme of things", Toni began. "We spoke for a month or so online and then he made plans to come over from Northern Ireland to visit me in Edinburgh. 'I'll come for the weekend,' he said. Well, he arrived and he's yet to leave! We've lived together from day one and, including the night before the wedding, we are yet to spend one single night apart. It's a good job he makes me laugh as much as he does!"
