Jessica & Kevin’s wedding was planned as the perfect reflection of them. Jessica, a title assistant and Kevin, a loan officer, both enjoy activities like camping, movies and music and so they made sure that all bases were covered for their wedding.
The couple got married in March Hacienda Restaurant in Santa Ana, CA. Jessica found her dress in the outlet section of Mon Amie bridal boutique in Costa Mesa, CA, but it didn’t have any labels on it so she was unsure of the desinger – does anybody know?! Her shoes were purple “Ivana” pumps by RSVP and her veil was made by Jessica’s mother Tammy. Jessica’s maid of honor Lindsey and her mother (Lindsey Mac Designs ) made her earrings and necklace.
One of the things that Kevin was looking forward to for the wedding was wearing a bow tie and tails and he found an Armani suit from Men’s Warehouse , with Freemason cuff links. They both selected titanium rings with blue stones rather than the traditional gold or platinum and diamonds.
Thanks to Molly for sharing this fab wedding with us today

The submission I received for Jessica and David's wedding began "If Wes Anderson was a wedding planner..." so instantly my interest was sparked. The Philadelphia wedding was a quirky Southern BBQ with retro touches. "I never knew what to say when people asked what the theme was", explained the bride. "I'd reply with 'It's a wedding... isn't that the theme?' I guess it was more about the color and the mood we wanted to create. I love retro fashion and I also love all those farm/ garden weddings all over wedding blogs. I also had our budget in mind and keeping in the budget helped make a lot of decisions about said theme... so maybe we can call it a budget retro summer garden party!"

One of the things that really stood out in your survey responses was that a lot of you wanted more Rock n Roll same sex weddings. Well my dears, you ask and I deliver! I have actually been dying to feature Lindsey & Amanda's wedding for a while now but with wedding season being in full flow I have been a trifle busy! Patience is a virtue though my little kittens and I think you'll realise that wait was worth it when you see these two kick ass chicks!

A DIY Wedding in Downtown Santa Ana: Candice & Nathaniel
Kat
October 17, 2012
One of the things that bums be out about living in the UK is that we can't get married anywhere we like - of course many couples these days opt for a humanist ceremony at the spot of their choice with the 'legal bit' taking place a few days before or after, but it's not really the same. And when I see ceremonies as gorgeous as Candice & Nathaniel right in the heart of Downtown Santa Ana, I'm even more envious!
The wedding took place on June 3rd. The couple organised everything themselves and did so for less than $5000. The ceremony was held on 2nd Street Promenade, and the reception was at Memphis at the Santora, just round the corner. The couple met online and had their first date in the area, and Nathaniel proposed on New Years Eve at Memphis at the Santora,. Basically it was the obvious location for them to have their wedding too!

Well this is certainly something you don't see everyday! I have a funny feeling you're going to love this.
Felicia and Joe were hitched at the historic Warner Theatre in Washington DC. The bride wore a Vera Wang gown from her diffusion line at David's Bridal, but she had to compete with that groom of hers who rocked up dressed as his favourite Power Ranger! Who says brides get to have all the fun?

Married at Brooklyn Winery in New York, Lindsay and Jesse's wedding was fun, colourful and a perfect reflection of them. It wasn't all smooth sailing, but you'd never know that to look at these beautiful pictures. The bride wore a striped dress by Hayley Paige and many pairs of custom glasses! They had paper flowers instead of real ones and a Rice Krispy cake in lieu of anything traditional.

Mr & Mrs Tattooboy’s Heavily Tattooed, Ass Kickin’ Rockabilly Wedding

January 7, 2011
Do you remember Mr & Mrs Tattooboy? The hot tattooed couple behind one of my favourite ever engagement sessions? Well check it out - they got hitched and I've got the exclusive on their killer wedding. When the couple first met, Kori was a cheerleader and Matt was a rocker and a tattooed artist. They soon fell in love and Kori starting getting just as much ink as her man!
"Kori & Matt’s aka Mr. & Mrs. Tattooboy, have this incredible rockabilly style & then some!!!" photographer Christina told me. "When I asked Kori about the details of her wedding she just told me she wanted it to be different from the normal-cheesy-blah type weddings, this made me really happy that she wasn’t giving in to what everyone else in the world was doing! Their unusual story & love for tattoos & rockabilly style was inspiration enough for these two lovers to plan their wedding."
